and we're back. Welcome back to part two, um, of the compatibility episode, a k a episode four of the space, which podcast. Thank you so much for tuning back in. Um, so obviously I'm going to continue talking about compatibility and some more in depth stuff that I didn't quite get to in my last episode. Um, but before I begin, I just have a couple of announcements I want to make a real quick. Um, so first one is just a quick little update. I'm still working to try and get this podcast up on Spotify, Spotify and iTunes. Um, but like I mentioned in a previous episode, I'm waiting to get my account recovered and all that fun stuff and it takes a while. Unfortunately it was just super, super annoying, but I should be good to go very, very soon. Um, and you guys will be the first to know about it.

Um, and um, I'm feeling good again. Um, yeah, so also another little thing I wanted to mention. So I have a couple Spotify playlists, so like, I dunno if anyone else is like this, but there's like a lot of songs I'll here and I'll be like, oh my God, this is like, I'll think of like a certain sign or a placement. I have a Venus, Venus retrograde blebs that wow, I can't talk now.

I believe in Venus retrograde. Um, yeah, so I have a Venus retrograde play list that I just kind of compiled. It's a little bit all over the place. It's got a little pop punk. It's got a little pop. It's got a little bit of rep. Um, I like a little bit of everything when it comes to music. So it's got something for everyone on there and I'm going to be adding more stuff to it as time goes on. There's not too many songs on it, but I'll probably still add to it. Um, it's, so what I'll probably do actually. So originally the playlist is called cosmic love. Um, I named it after the Florence and the machine song cosmic love.

Cause like there's some songs that just kind of remind me of like space and like the stars and all that fun stuff. So I started making a playlist of all the songs, like remind me of that. But um, I'm thinking what I might do and this might be kind of fun, I might just add a bunch of, like there's certain songs that remind me of like the certain signs or certain like, um, you know, placements. So I might just add songs to it and then maybe like I'll make a blog post to go with it so that that way you guys can kind of go on and see like what songs remind me of what placement I thought about doing like a playlist for all the different sides, but that just kind of seems like too much work. Um, so yeah, the playlist is called cosmic love.

So yeah, I'm just going to dive straight into where I left off on my last podcast episode, um, in this wow playlist. I'm still thinking about playlists. Um, in this episode I'm going to talk about, um, so like in the last episode, like I said, I talked about just your basic, um, your basic like, you know, things you can look at to know if two signs are going to be compatible or not.

In this episode I'm going to be talking about your moon sign again. I'm going to be talking about your Mars sign, your venus sign and I'm going to talk about the first house in the seventh house and size also a big thing that plays into astrology and love and relationships and compatibility and partnerships. Somehow too, after I took a break, I'm still out of breath for some reason. I'm like I said, I really don't like to do a whole lot of editing on these, so bear with me on that. Um, I mean like I'll probably do like a little bit of editing but not a whole lot. Um, so yeah. Um, but anyways, so I'm going to start off talking. So if anyone remembers him, one on my last episodes, I talked about the moon signs and what your moon sign is and how a lot of it's like, you know, your relationship, not your relationship, sorry.

Um, how it's like, you know, your relationship to your mother or it is how you handle your emotions. This is really important and compatibility. Um, because not only like in a relationship are you going to be dealing with someone in their emotions, but like, you know, they say that in relationships we project our childhood traumas on to other people. Um, and you know, like a lot of people have like, you know, stuff from their childhood that they didn't deal with, um, that kind of come out in your relationships. And so, um, your moon sign has a lot to do with your mother and how you viewed your mother. And, um, you know, it also has to do with like, because it has to do with your mother. Like, you know, everyone looks to their mother for security, like when you're an infant or a toddler.

Um, you know, you're going to look to your mom to make you feel safe and warm and like, okay, so I'm moon sign compatibility is really important in a relationship because you know, that's gonna be what nurtures you. It's going to be what makes me feel comfortable and safe and you know, what makes you feel like you can be vulnerable and share stuff with this person. Um, so a lot of like what I'm not going to go look about, like I'm not going to talk about all the signs in the the moon. Um, you can find that on my blog later cause I kind of made a post for that for my last episode. Um, but what I will say is like generally speaking, you can, you can use a lot of what I talked about in the last episode to find out if your moon sign is going to be compatible with someone else's moon sign.

Um, so like, you know, if you know you're a cancer moon and the person you're looking at as a Capricorn moon or a Virgo moon, you're going to know that it's generally going to be pretty compatible because, um, you know, it's an earth sign and a water sign and you know, they're opposites and they're both cardinal signs. So like you can kind of like look at it that way. Um, I mean overall, like, you know, you want to look at the chart as a whole, you don't want to fix it too much on one placement. Um, but the moon sign does come a lot into play in relationships and hello cat. Oh my God. My cat is like sniffing my microphone and wants to know what I'm doing and once we get to pet him, um, yeah. So everyone's hands are gonna be super important. Um, excuse me.

He's like walking on my laptop, distracting me. Anyways. Um, yeah. So that's your moon sign. Now that my cats like done being rude and finally decided to like sit down and like chill. Um, yeah. So that's your moon sign. The next thing that I'm going to talk about that I haven't really talked that much about at all. And this podcast is your Venus sign. So you're venus sign is, you know, Venus is like the planet of love, beauty, luxury. Um, it can sometimes have to do with like money or how you make money. Um, but a lot of it, it's about like how you show affection, what you find visually appealing, what you're attracted to. It's also like, kind of like they sit like how you flirt or it's like how you show other people your affection. Um, they also say that like, so in a woman's chart of Venus, your Venus placement is like how she flirts.

And then in a man's chart, like a man's Mars sign is like how he flirts. And then like, so like for a woman, sorry, this is so confusing. And then for a woman like her Mars sign is what she's attracted to in a man. Um, and then the same thing, like in a male's chart, like a man's chart is going to have like, you know, you know, the venus sign would be like what he's attracted to and a woman, um, if you find that works for you, that's great. Um, I think it, it kind of applies and it kind of doesn't also, like if you, you know, if this is like, if you're like, it can apply to anyone, whether you're like gay, straight trans, um, you can interpret it how you will with what you know, feminine and Masculine Energies that you identify with.

Um, so yeah, your venus sign is like, it's just what you find attractive and how you kind of show that you are attracted to someone. That's how you show shower them with affection. Um, so in like what you look for in a relationship, it's what you love. Um, so like your venus sign, it's like, it's what you love or your moon sign is like, that's your security. What makes you feel safe. So, like for example, my Venus sign is in cancer, so I'm like very attracted to people to like, yeah, I mean people in general I guess. Um, but from a relationship standpoint, I'm very attracted to men who are, um, very warm and nurturing and like, I feel like almost like they want to take care of me or like they do things for me or, um, you know, in a way I'm like, I guess I'm attracted to like a very like traditional kind of a man, even though like I'm also very nontraditional with my Aquarius rising.

Um, you know, I like, I always think it's like sweet, like when a guy like goes out of his way to like do things for me that I wouldn't expect them to do. Even just like, like holding the door open or something silly like that. Um, you know, with my Venus in cancer, like those are the kinds of things like I'm attracted to and you know, like cancer's all about family and like nurturing and like warmth. I don't know. I always think warmth when I think of like cancer and Taurus cause it's just like, they're just such a cozy placement. Like we just want to like hang out at home, drink some hot chocolate, watch movies, cuddle with our pets. Like, and that's really what like Venus and cancer's all about is like, you know, they want the long term committed relationship. They want to have family usually.

Um, obviously things like can make that different, like based on other things in the chart. But like I always feel like Venus and cancers like the kind of placement that's like, you know, they get into a long term relationship and they're like, let's move in together. Let's get a dog together, let's get a pet, let's cook together. That kind of a thing. Um, anyways, so getting back to her saying, so that's like Venus and cancer. That's what I have. And then I have moon in Capricorn, which is, you know, Capricorns are very stable sign. Um, you know, it's very like not, it's, it's not like so wishy washy and flaky and emotional. And so, like, from a security standpoint, like I need to be with someone who is very stable and like, not overly emotional and like, it's a little contradicting tonight's because like, you know, my Venus and moon signer and opposite signs, so there is some conflict there.

Um, but yeah, we really look for like, stability in a relationship. Um, and we also like people that can kind of bring us down to earth and ground us for when we do get upset. Um, because like, you know, it's just, it's very easy to kind of like get caught up in other things and kind of lose sight of like what you're looking for. Um, because you know, Capricorn moon isn't a very emotional placement to begin with, but like, I think it's really good to have someone who either like helps you deal with your emotions or like someone who can, um, you know, maybe it will cause like Capricorn moon, it's like we tend to be workaholics. So like, instead of, uh, you know, actually getting emotional, we might throw ourselves into our work and not deal with their emotions. So having someone who can kind of get you to like pay attention to stuff like that is always super helpful.

Um, but yeah. So what was I saying again? Um, yeah, so like I said, your moon sounds like your security and what, like you need to feel secure in a relationship. Your Venus sign is what you find attractive and what appeals to you and what's gonna make you look and feel good. Um, moving on to your mar sign, your march sign is all about passion. It's your masculine energy, it's anger, it's what drives you, what motivates you. Um, it's sexual energy. So if you want to know like what your sex life is going to be with someone or if you know you're going to be a good a match sexually, it was someone, um, maybe have a friends with benefits kind of a thing. Or maybe you're seeing someone you want to hook up with them, I don't know. Uh, and you want to know like what sex with them might be.

Like, you can look at their Mars and the fifth house or sorry, not Mars in the fifth house. That's my placement. I don't know why I just said that. I'm not, everyone's going to have Mars in their fifth house. Um, but I met like you can look at Mars, um, their mar signed to kind of figure it out. So, so with that being said, um, so generally speaking, if someone has Mars in a water sign, they're going to be like really passive aggressive anger wise. They might be really shy or like coy when it comes to sex. I think the only one that might not be super shy, it's like Mars and Scorpio because Scorpio is like very driven sign and it's all about sex and I feel like they're very likely to just like seduce someone. Um, like hardcore. Uh, so they're going to be kind of like that.

Um, if you have Mars and an earth sign, um, you might be a little more grounded when you're angry. Like you try to be kind of fair and like practical and like see the other side of things. Um, I know they're like, I think margin tourists, it's really like physical when they're angry. Um, that's a big thing. Like when you look at earth signs, like they're very physical, um, which can also make them really good like in the bedroom because like they're very physical and sensual and like in touch with that side of themselves. Um, I know like people always joke about like the astrological, like in the astrological community there's all these jokes about like, you know, like, uh, how like probably like the hottest like signed to like sleep with is like Mars and Capricorn or Mars and Scorpio because those are just two very driven signs.

And like, I think I'm Mars is like exalted and Capricorn too because cab recording is all about hard work and you know, like they're stable so they don't like, you know, they don't give up easily. So like if you're going to sleep with a Mars and Capricorn like they are all in there like very like, um, kinda like seductive, I guess I'm not in the same way like a margin Scorpio would be, but they're just very like driven and goal oriented. So like they go into sex with like a mission. Um, I've also heard like, I guess Mars and Capricorn can be kind of like kinky sometimes too. Um, those are all things you can kind of like figure out, um, about sex and your Mars sign. Um, which I might, we'll see. Maybe we'll do another episode specifically about sex and astrology. Um, but the were just talking about relationships for now.

So that's your Mars in the earth. Psi Or, yeah, the earth signs Mars and a fire sign is going to be very passionate and fiery, like fiery, like the element. Um, those would be very, uh, passionate and like, I always think Mars in the fire signs, those are kind of like the one night stand sort of like people. Um, I mean obviously this isn't true for all people who have Mars and a fire sign, but I feel like they're much more likely to, because like, think of fire, like fire being like a quick flame, you know, you can turn the flame on, you can blow out the flame, like that kind of a thing. Um, so they're very like passionate. Like, I think like these would maybe be the kind of people to have like, like angry makeup, sex or something. Um, but I always think like they could be, uh, someone you meet at like a bar or a club and you like hook up with like one time and like they're super into it at the time and the next day they're just like over it.

They're like, that's, then this is now this is done. Um, obviously like that's not always true, but that's kind of what like where my mind goes when I think of like fire signs and the Mars signs. Um, also when they're angry, they probably can be really mean because they're really blunt. I'm a lot of fire signs tend to be just very direct into the point about things. Um, so they don't really like hold back. Um, they kind of just say things and like, apologize later. Maybe. Um, again, fire center all about the ego. So they might, they might not apologize. Um, but they might, so that's your Mars and a fire sign. Um, your Mars and air signs. Again, this is another placement where I feel like, because, um, the fire and air sensor are a little bit less, uh, emotional, um, or a little bit like less attached to things.

Um, this is another place where I feel like they could easily just hook up with someone or have a friends with benefits situation or maybe they have like a polyamorous relationship or an open relationship. People with Mars and an air sign, they're very detached with sex. Um, they are very, like, they, I don't know, they're just not like clingy. Um, they are like, they, they're totally cool. It's just like being friends with someone and like hooking up with them. Like whenever, like they're, they don't really, it's not like this, like for, so like if you had Mars and a water sign, um, for example, like I have margin cancer, so like sex for you is very like intimate and special and like sacred and it's like this big spiritual, emotional thing. Um, whereas, uh, someone who has Mars in, in air sign, they're going to be like, it's just sex.

It's whatever. It's not a big deal. People do it. Um, they're just going to like, be really overly logical and rational about it and they're just not going to get their feelings all tied up in, um, their relationship relationships. Um, so like I said, these were the people that I feel like we'd probably do a lot of like unconventional, like, uh, you know, things like open relationships. Maybe they go to sex parties, maybe they, um, like I said, maybe they'd like to have like group sex or threesomes, maybe they, they're the caterpillar that'll go to like a strip club with their partner. Um, so yeah, that's kind of, that's where my mind goes when they're angry. Um, I imagine they just get very heady about it. Um, I don't, it's hard to say cause I don't really, I haven't had to deal with too many air signs.

Um, but I think they'll probably like take themselves out of the situation and just like think about it and then they kind of get over it and they just rationalize it all out. Um, like I mentioned, like I know like, like Mars and Gemini is kind of like all over the way. It's like they'll get really, really mad and then they're just over it and it's fine. And I think like a lot of the air signs are probably like that. Like they get really upset and they've, maybe they freak out and then they calm down and they're like, it's whatever. Like they're just over it. Cause like I said, it's a very detached sign. So they just kind of like, it's there and it's gone. Just like the kind of just like the fire signs. So, um, from a sexual standpoint, if you are looking to hookup with someone, um, if you have, you know, your Mars and a water or sign, those are the two things are kind of like going to work for you.

Um, so either someone else with a Mars and a water sign or someone else who is Mars and a earth sign, they're going to be like more sexually combat compatible with you. Um, and then like if you have your Mars and a fire sign or an air sign, you're going to want to look for someone who's either in the same element is you or someone who is a, you know, fire, air sign because they're just more compatible. And of course, as I mentioned in my last episode, um, you know, there's, there's always exceptions to the rule. I'm like I said, for example, like I'm a Mars and cancer and my boyfriend is in a Mars in Libra. Um, and it still works and it's fine. Um, so yeah, so that is your march sign. Um, the last thing I want to touch on is your first house and your seventh house.

Um, this is a really, really, really important thing to look at in relationships for so many reasons. First of all, it's like this is these two houses, there are always going to be opposite of each other and they're always going to be an opposite signs always. Um, this is all about, this is going to be all about like how you come off to the world and how other people see you and how you see people. Um, the first house is like rolled by Aries. Um, which areas is the first sign of the Zodiac? It is, um, you know, it's all about like the physical, like physical stuff like your physical body and moving your body and how you look in your appearance. Um, so your first time is also known as your ascendent sign. Um, everyone has one, it's based off the time you were born.

Um, and it's just, it's literally, it's how you come off in personal relationships. Um, so there's like a whole dynamic and astrology where you have your first test in your seventh house dynamic, you have your 10,000, your fourth house dynamic. And so your first house in seventh house, those are all about relationships and partnerships. Um, whereas you have your 10,000 year fourth house, which is kind of like your home where you grew up. And then it's like, where are you going? So it, it goes from your home to your public persona and your stance in the world and how you appear publicly. Um, and this is why like you can see people online, um, or in the public eye on like youtube or on TV and you might see a celebrity or someone and they come off a certain way on a public platform. And if you were to meet them in person, they might be like a whole other person.

So like for example, like, um, my 10 houses and Sagittarius. So you're listening to my podcast right now and you're thinking like, wow, this girl sounds like a Sagittarius type personality. Um, you know, she's here teaching me about astrology and you know, telling me all these things and um, you know, educating me, which is something I actually love to do is to educate people. And I like getting, you know, I like getting preachy. It's fun. Um, that's my thing. And so then, you know, if you guys were to meet me in person though, I might seem totally different to you. Like, I have an Aquarius rising, so like Aquarius is a very detached sign. So I might sound very fun and personal or personable. That was the word personable on this podcast. But like if you mind me a person, I might be very like cold and distant and kind of shy.

Like I might be kind of like observing you before I decide to like be your best friend kind of a thing. Um, what do you know Aquarius is a friendly sign. So like I am friendly, you can approach me, I will talk to pretty much anyone. Um, but you're just going to get a totally different vibe than what you hear on my podcast for example. Even though like I think my podcast is pretty true to who I am as a person. Um, it's not that much different. Like this is honestly like how I talked to like my friends and my coworkers. Um, so yeah, so it's not that much different, but like, like I said, it's just like a different vibe. Um, so, so getting back to what I was saying, um, so yeah, your first house was like your physical body and your appearance and um, like how you appear in person to people.

On the opposite end of that you have your seventh house. So if your first house is all about like you and your appearance, um, your seventh house is also known as your descendant. So it's the opposite of your ascendant. Um, and you know, so like the first house is how people see you. Your seventh house or your descendant is going to be all about how you see other people. It's also going to be like your shadow side and you're like negative traits of like your general personality. Um, I will say go backtracking a little bit, your first house to like, or your ascendent. It's all that kind of like colors your tart. It's almost like the overall theme of like everything in your chart. Um, that kind of just glosses over everything. Um, but anyways, so like for, so I'm going to use my own example again.

I always try to tell people, your first house is, it's how you want to appear. And then like I said before, your some test is how like, you know, it's the negative sides of that. Um, but you don't really pay much attention to. So like I'm an Aquarius rising, so I always tell people about like how I'm Vegan and I would like want to try to go like, you know, zero waste and do all this, you know, humanitarian Aquarius stuff. Um, and how like I want to get a rescue to hug and do all this good in the world and you know, that's my Aquarius rising coming out. Because, you know, Aquarius as humanitarian, we want to help the world. We want to do good. Things were unconventional. We want to do things differently. Um, and so in a weird way, literally weird because Aquarius is like, no one was like the weird sign.

Um, that is how I strive for people to see me. Um, it's kind of like this weird crunchy like hippie person I guess. Um, and so on the opposite end of that, I have Leo, which a Leo is a very selfish sign and it's a very like look at me sign and you know, I want attention. And you know, it's funny because I think in a way like I strive to be a selfless person and a lot of the times like I'll hear, I've had people tell me like, oh, you're so selfish, you're so like into yourself and blah, blah blah blah. Um, so sometimes like when I'm, you know, not acting the best, I might be selfish, I might be kind of like a Leo, I might be lazy, I might not want to do things for other people. Um, another good example I love to use as people with like Sagittarius rising, cause I've noticed this a lot and um, some, not all, but some people I know who have this, um, Sagittarius is like, you know, when you have Sagittarius rising, you want to be like this mature Philosophical Guru and you want everyone to think you know, all this stuff and you want them to think that you're so mature and you kind of on like a bad day, you'd probably give off like a holier than thou personality.

And you love to preach to people about like how mature you are and how like, you know, you're just, you're so mature and worldly and know all this stuff. But then like when you are acting out, you act really immature and that's the gem and I descendant coming out and just, you know, kind of like spit firing at people and being rude and all over the place. Um, so that's like your shadow side coming out. So the same dynamic could be applied between any two signs. Those are just like the two examples that I really like to use. Um, so it's like, it's almost like, like I said, cause you know, relationships are like a mirror when you're dealing with someone, you're projecting stuff on to them and in return you end up getting a lot of stuff projected back at you, which is why like, you know, in a longterm relationship you can learn and grow so much if you actually take the time to, um, you know, work with your partner.

And in fact, like, I think that's one of the most beautiful things about any sort of longterm committed relationship is, um, if you and your partner are both willing to commit and take the time to work on your issues and help each other, um, that's like the real nitty gritty like soulmate work right there. Because, you know, they say soulmates in, this doesn't even have to be a romantic relationship. It could be a friendship or a partnership with someone else. Um, you know, they say like soulmates, soulmates. Wow. Almost going to say that. Um, soulmates. They come into your life to teach you things and to teach you a lesson. And they can come in a lot of different forms. It's not always necessarily romantic. Um, but I think that's the beautiful thing about twin flames and soulmates and stuff like that is, uh, you know, when you, when you meet someone and you connect with them, you are doing all that inner soul work just by being with them.

Because you know, a lot of issues come up in relationships because like I said before, we end up projecting all of our childhood traumas and issues onto the other people. And so when you meet that right person who gets you to just stop and say, you know, hey lake, let's talk about this. Let's work through this. Why did, why are you doing this when you're upset? Why do you ignore me when we get in a fight? Why do you run away? Why do you do all this stuff? So when you actually get that right person to sit down and be like, this is an issue, let's talk about it. Let's work through it. And if you're actually willing to sit down and talk about it in return, it can be such a beautiful thing. Um, you know, in that sense to care for another person such a way where you realize like you have all these issues and you need to work on them and you're working on them for the greater good of like, you know, yourself and the other person, um, which is a totally off topic thing.

Well, I'm not totally off topic, but um, you know, just one of the wonderful, wonderful, uh, dynamics of, you know, how relationships tend to work. Um, so yeah, so your first house in your seventh house, it's like I said, it's like a two way mirror, just like a normal relationship, you know, when you're working with someone. Um, so like I said, your first house is your appearance. It's how you come off. Um, you can have certain planets in placements there, um, that might affect like how you feel about your appearance or might affect your competence levels. Like, you know, you could have Saturday in your first house and be really insecure about how you look or stuff like that or you might have a very serious personal, you know, way that you come about or come off to people. Um, and because you have that first house too, that's also going to show you like what kind of people you attract are what placements you attract.

Um, so like for me personally, I have Aquarius rising are ascendant, um, which is an air sign. So I attract a lot of air signs and sometimes fire signs. I'm like, I have a ton of Libor friends. Um, and I have a lot of Gemini friends that I have a lot of. Um, I have like, I don't know, like I noticed in the past I attract a lot of Leos but it never works because I honestly like Leo's don't really do much for me. Um, in a relationship. Like I love them as friends and I think they're great to be around, but they are not really someone I'm super interested in in a relationship wise. Although I guess I can't say that too much because, uh, my, my boyfriend has a Venus in Leo, so I guess I'm lying a little bit, but, um, I guess like Leo Sun People are just a little too extra for me.

No offense to anyone who's a Leo Sun. Um, but yeah, so like you're going to attract a lot of like other signs that are either in the same element as you or they might be, like I said, water or earth. If you have a water or earth rising, if you have a fire air rising, you might attract a lot of other air signs or other fire signs. And then also like you going to be likely to attract a lot of like the opposite of whatever that sign is. So like I said before, my risings in Aquarius and I attract a lot of Leos. Um, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. So that's how that dynamic works. Your seventh house is like your house of your seventh house is going to be, that's the house of like partnerships. Um, it's what it's really like. I know when I say partnerships, I mean like it can be romantic relationships, but it can also be like business business, business ships, I guess that's a word now.

A business business partnerships or it can be friendships even, um, and generally like, so we're usually attracted to whatever's on the opposite and of our, um, first house. So like in our seventh house, so like me being an Aquarius rising, I am attracted to people, um, who have Leo characteristics or trade. So I love people that are like really happy and funny. I'm like actually, especially the funny part, anyone who can make me laugh is just like, I love them. Um, I love funny people and I love people that are very confident too. That's a very Leo thing cause it was a very competent. Um, so that's kind of like that. It's another thing to look at that plays into attraction as your seventh house. Also, if you have any planets in your seventh house, that's really going to, um, affect that too. So like not only do I have Leo on my seventh house, but I also have Virgo, Virgo.

Um, I have my son in my seventh house, which is kind of weird because my first house and seventh house or intercepted and my sun's in Virgo, but my son technically does fall in my seventh house. So, um, I have son in my seventh house and then I have mercury also in my seventh house. Um, so, and it's funny too, cause like I thought about this one day, right? Um, I don't, I for a long time I was like, I don't have a type, I don't like there isn't a type, I just like who I like. And then one day it kind of clicked for me when I was looking at my chart. Um, so like having the sun and Mercury there, I love people that are really confident and really smart and people that I can like have conversations with and not just like, you know, like small talk with.

I mean like people I can talk about like anything and everything with like that's so attractive to me. And, um, you know, like, I don't know, like I love confidence and I love brains and that's really like what you get when you have sun and Mercury on your seventh house like that. And so it was funny to look back at the people I was like really attracted to and like, you know, I guess I'm just kind of attracted to like really attractive but really like confident, like nerds. I'm like, I dunno, like there's just something about like a smart guy who's really confident in himself and like they know it. Um, it's funny too because usually these people are also like low key, very insecure, um, which is fine because like everyone's insecure of course. Um, but like, I don't know, just people who are like, it's like, you know, people worry about like penis size and I'm like, well, how big is your brain though?

Um, to take it down that that way. But that's just kind of like what came to mind. Um, yeah, so like I said, really competent, really smart people. And so like, even like, um, yeah, you could have another planet in your seventh house too. So like, if you have like your moon in your seventh house, um, you might be really attracted to women or men who are really maternal and like, are really comforting and nurturing and just like want to take care of you. Um, so like, you know, all these little things can kind of, uh, can affect that. And I think that's about all I have to say for the first and seventh house dynamic. Hopefully I did a pretty good job of trying to explain that to you guys. Um, yeah, and I guess this concludes the rest of my episode. Yeah, Girl Whitney Levesque. Um, yes. So I actually thought I was on episode five and I posted about it on Instagram and then I went and checked my sound cloud account and realize that this is only episode four, which is so crazy. I mean I'm pretty proud of myself for making it this far anyway cause I mean, you know, I got a lot of cardinal signs of my chart so it was a little iffy if I was going to get this far. Um, but I'm happy I did. I thought it was on episode five and I like, I was so proud. I was like, wow, I did five episodes already. That's amazing. Um, but I'll take four. Four is a good number.

I would assume that means I've, so I've done like a month's worth of podcasts. I mean I tried to put out, you know, an episode a week and so yeah, for four episodes I'll take it. I'm, I'm so happy. I'm happy to be here. Um, yeah. So let's see. Um, so today's episode I think is going to be all about love and compatibility and just, just the basics of that. There's a lot of stuff that goes into compatibility and astrology. Um, but today I'm just going to be like covering them, just like the basic stuff. Um, that's really easy to spot out when you're just beginning. So yeah, let's do it. I'm so high energy this morning. I feel like the last couple episodes I've done, we're really, um, I sounded kinda tired cause I was, cause I've been working weird hours and my schedule's changed.

Um, but I'm kind of adjusted now after a month or two of, uh, working at my new job. So yeah, I had a lot of white tea this morning. I got some sleep last night. My computer had to update for like a half an hour before I could record this. So yeah, I listened to a lot of Cassia while I was waiting and I was kind of like dancing around and just like, you know, getting off psyched up for this episode and I'm really happy. So, um, yeah, I dunno also, I like, so I'm recording in my living room right now and I just brought all my plants into my living room from my sun room because I'm in Maine. It's really chilly up here, even in fall. So, um, I've just brought all my plants and I think there's something to be said about plants and uh, you know, like raising your vibrations, you're vibes.

I think they bring in a lot of like positive, good vibes. So like, I dunno, I love having my plants and I love like seeing them all like in my living room. Um, so yeah. Anyways, compatibility. So here are your compatibility basics. Um, so I'm going to start off with just like basic stuff you should know that you could apply to just like Sun signs. Um, so like if you only know someone sometime you could kind of go off that even though your sun sign isn't really, it's not everything you should look at when it comes to compatibility. Um, technically you should look into like your moon rising sign Mars and Venus when it comes to like love and compatibility. But I'm going to talk about that more in the second segment of the show. Um, so yeah, for right now I'm just going to cover the basics so you can just be like, oh, like you can look at someone sun sign and you know, try to figure out if it's compatible with your sun sign, which is what a lot of people do anyway.

Um, originally I thought I was going to do like a whole separate episode on some of this stuff, but I just realized it all plays into compatibility. And that's, I think one of the main things that a lot of people like want to know about when it comes to astrology is like, oh, am I going to get along with, with this person? Am I not going to get along with this person? Yada, Yada, Yada. So, um, first of all, before I actually really get into it this time, um, I, one thing I just want to put out there is even though this is an astrology podcast and I'm talking about compatibility, um, don't look at someone's chart and decide if like you're going to be compatible or not and like write them off because there is a lot more that is going to go into compatibility besides everything I'm about to tell you in this episode.

So you know, there's a thing called [inaudible], which is kind of like how someone else's chart interacts with your chart. Um, that's probably going to be for another episode cause I'm actually myself, I'm still learning a little bit about sindustry. Um, but yeah, so don't, don't like look at someone's chart and write them off. Um, because even though like you might look at someone's starting, you might think like, Oh, they're a Leo and I'm a cancer where super incompatible, um, you never know. You might actually really get along with this person. Also, it's just kinda like you really, even though I love astrology and I think it's a great tool, don't be that person who kind of bases their whole life around compatibility or not compatibility around astrology and whether or not you're compatible. Um, if anything, this, I guess this goes into a little bit of like the ethics of astrology.

If anything, I would wait to even look at their chart. If you're interested in someone I know like a lot of you are probably going to go look anyway. I know cause I do this. Um, but just because I do it doesn't really mean y'all should do it. Um, I do this, I do have a friend, but anyway. Um, but just to Kinda, I guess I recommended just to kind of like not make yourself crazy. Like if you're interested someone go on a couple dates, talk to them, see what happens. If you want to look at their chart leader, fine. Or like if you're open about your love for astrology, like I am in, you're like, hey, when's your birthday? When, what time were you born? And then you just tell them why you want to know. Um, that's fine. Yeah. So basically just don't, don't make any big decisions based off of astrology.

Um, even though I think astrology is a great tool for understanding where something's going to go, um, yeah, it's just, it's not everything. Uh, even like for me example, so like, not to talk about myself, but this is my podcast and I love talking about myself. Well, not even that. I mean I do love talking about myself, but, um, it's easy for me to use my own example. So if you're annoyed by me talking about myself, then I guess you need to listen to another podcast. But anyway, um, yeah, so like for me personally, like I'm a Virgo sun. I have my Mars and Venus in cancer. I'm a Capricorn moon and my uh, boyfriend, he is a Libra sun. He is a Taurus, Moon Venus in Leo and Mars in Libra. And then he's a Scorpio rising. I'm an Aquarius rising, which like, you know, if you look at that, like if you like for example, like if I were to look at just our Vena signs, which is cancer and Leo, you know, you could take one look at that and be like, oh yeah, that's like, that's not gonna work because it's a water sign mixed with a fire sign.

But it works. Um, actually it's funny, I'm slow. Like my Venus is my fifth house, so that would kind of give me some like Venus in Leo traits kind of. Um, so that's kind of how that would like Mesh together. Also. Like he has a lot of fixed signs of this chart, which I like because with my Venus in cancer, like I love stability. So having someone who has a lot of fixed signs, even though he's a Libra, cause that's another thing. Like I know libras are really flaking and decisive and it's an air sign. So I could've looked at his chart when we started dating and it could have been like, oh well you're a Libra, so you must be really flaky. So this just isn't gonna work. Because I need someone who can commit to me and not be indecisive. However, because he has, you know, Venus in Leo and moon and Taurus and Scorpio rising and all that stuff.

He has so many fixed elements that play into his love life that, you know, it makes them much less indecisive and flighty as a Libra. Um, is he still indecisive? Oh yeah. He's super indecisive about like a lot of like little trivial things. But once he kind of ways out his options and he makes a decision, he's set on that decision, he's not going to change his mind on it. Um, not to say that he's also close minded. He's actually very open minded person being a Libra, but generally speaking, like he's very logical and very like, um, you know, it's just, it's a Libra thing. He wants a way out as options before he has a set in from decision. Um, so that, that works for me and that works for me in my Venus and Mars and cancer and all my water and earth placements such as like need all this like stability.

Um, so yeah. So, yeah, like I said, you know, don't look at chart and write them off because you just think it's going to be incompatible right off the bat. Get to know someone, see how it works. Going a couple of days, you can always say, no, I don't want to do this later. Um, yeah. Okay. So that's my disclaimer. Now I'm actually going to talk about compatibility now that that's all out of the way. Um, so there's a few things that come into play with compatibility and the Sun signs or just, you know, mixing any science. So like even, I'm talking about the sunshine's now because like that would be the easiest thing to, to, uh, kind of like put together. But I'm really, if you can figure out how the signs interact with each other, you can look at any other placements and tell how that's gonna work.

So like, you could apply this to, you know, Venus, Mars, Moon, rising signs, all that good stuff. So, um, the few things I kind of come into play are, there's a thing in astrology called the modes, which is, um, there's mutable, there's cardinal signs, there's fixed signs and that's it. There's like three modes, I'm pretty sure. Yeah. Okay. Um, I had to think about that for a second. So there's a three modes. There's mutable, cardinal and fixed. Um, so I'll start with mutable first, since I mentioned that first mutable signs, are there kind of what they sound like? They're mutable or like malleable. They are constantly changing. Um, they're, they're kind of like the more easy going signs or like they're kind of like, like they're not going to be very stubborn about things. They're going to be kind of more go with the flow or more open to things and more like, like I said, malleable.

Like these are people that might be like more influenced by like, they're outside surroundings or like people they know. Um, you know, it's almost like if you like had molding clay and you can just shape it to however you want. That's kind of how I think of like the mutable signs. Um, and the mutable signs are Virgo, Pisces, Sagittarius, and Gemini. Um, which is interesting because all those signs are like each other's opposite sides. So you have Virgo and Pisces, which are both opposite signs and the of Gemini and Sagittarius, which are also opposites. Um, so like Virgos are very like, um, you know, picky and critical and like, you know, all over the place. And you know, Pisces are also kind of all over the place, but they're like, um, they're a little more like whatever. They're like emotional sponges. Like they just take on, like all these emotions were like, you know, you'd see Virgo and Virgos Kinda like they over analyze our emotions to the point where their feelings kind of get pushed aside.

Um, and then, you know, you have Gemini and Sagittarius, which is the way I always look at Gemini and Sagittarius is I always think of them as like the student and the teacher. Um, because so Sagittarius is like the wants to be like the guru or the teacher or like the authority figure that is like giving you the information. Like, I always think of Sagittarius as being like a college professor or instructor or um, you know, any kind of like a teacher of like higher learning. And you know, it's interesting because um, you know, like they're very preachy. Like they like to give people advice cause I like to philosophize La, I can't even say. Okay. You know what, they're very philosophical. So like they take what they learned and they kind of really like take the time to like think about it and look at it from a different angle.

Um, whereas you have Gemini, which is also ruled by mercury, which is, um, what Virgos rolled by. But Geminis I think are a little like more like all over the place and like disorganized compared to Virgos. Um, Geminis I feel like are like, you know, they say Geminis are very childlike, so they're like the little kid that's just like always learning and they're always curious and they're always asking questions and they're like, what's this and what does this thing do? And like, they just want to know everything, which is why I think of them as like the student because like they ask all these questions and, um, it's, it's interesting because I feel like gem and I kind of like Gemini, um, I feel like they ask like the more minuscule questions, like, how does this work? What does this do? Um, whereas I feel like I look at Sagittarius on the opposite end of that.

And Sagittarius kind of takes it a step further and asks, okay, I understand that this does this, but why does it do it? Um, and that's where it, like the philosophical aspects kind of come from, um, because it goes from what and how to why. Um, but anyways, I'm getting so off topic. Um, so yeah, so that's kind of like the dynamic of how I look at those signs. Um, I guess overall, what I was trying to say with that little side topic was that, um, I feel like not, I feel like, but I think that all the mutable signs are just very studious and very like willing to learn and want to experience things. Um, you know, in different ways, like, you know, Virgos are very organized and they're very analytical and like, you know, I imagine like, I almost imagine like Virgo is being like more like the nerdy computer science major.

I guess. Like, not to say that all Virgos are like that, but that's the kind of personality I think of where they're always like learning and they want to like crunch numbers and like know the facts. Whereas on the opposite end of that, you have Pisces, which I think, you know, Pisces or like the dreamers and you know, there's like a, there's like a thing in astrology like Pisces or like the drug addicts. Not to say that all Pisces are drug addicts, but, um, they're much more susceptible to, um, you know, trying like mind altering drugs and substances and wanting to experience things on another realm because, you know, whereas you have Virgo that's all analytical and wants to crunch numbers, you have Pisces on the other end of that where they're very spiritual and they believe that there's like a higher power or plane of existence that they're on or something crazy like that.

Um, and then you, like I said before, you have Gemini and Sagittarius, which is like the student and the teacher. Um, so that's what's kind of cool about the mutable signs. Like they're always wanting to learn and wanting to learn and they're always like wanting to hear like people's opinions and like consider them. Um, so anyways, moving on, that was really long. I don't know why I ended up talking about that so much. Um, so yeah, so that's your mutable signs. After that you have your cardinal signs. Um, cardinal signs are the best way to kind of describe cardinal signs and they're kind of like the go getters and the Zodiac. They're the ones that are like, they're going to set a goal and they're going to go for it and they're going to do it whether or not they're going to finish that goal is really dependent on what else is in their chart and how motivated they are.

Um, cardinal signs are like, they're like the initiators. They just, they start things. Um, and they set goals and they're really big on like projects and ideas and new concepts. And, you know, I feel like they're actually a little bit like more innovative than some of the other signs. Um, because like they're all about like ideas and like once I get an idea, they're like, oh, this would be great, let's do it. Um, and like that's the thing, they'll start it. They might not finish it. Um, yeah. So the cardinal signs are cancer, Capricorn, Aries and Libra. So you have cancer, which is like the mom of the Zodiac. I would like, I always think of like cancer and Capricorn like the mom and the dad. Um, cause that's kind of what what they resonate with. Um, you know, so like, you know, think of it like that.

Like the parents. So you have cancers. Mom, Capricorn is the dad. And I'm like getting out of breath already. Um, so yeah, so things like your parents, like your parents are always going to be there for you. Like, you know, I mean I get obviously like I understand that like not everyone's parents were always there for them, but theoretically when you think of like the archetype of like what parents are, um, your parents are like, they're always going to be there for you. So I always think of it like, you know, if you need something or you need help with something or you're in trouble, like Capricorn kids are, they're the ones that are going to show up for you and they're going to be there to help you and support you. Um, you know, like I said, like they're the initiators. So like, you know, if you're like, I need this thing, they're going to come like, like to the rescue and they're gonna be like, what do you need?

How can I help? Like, you know, that's, that's just what they are. Um, Capricorn on. Like, it's interesting too. So like Capricorn, you know, they're all about projects and setting goals and, um, you know, Capricorn, they're always like, and be reaching for like the next thing. Cause you know, Capricorn's the goat. So imagine a goat, like climbing the mountain to get to the top and you know, so they're all like goal oriented. So they're going to, you know, have an idea for a project and they're going to really try to follow through with it. Um, again, sometimes, sometimes Capricorns can do that. Um, they're going to try to, and that's, that's kind of the thing like, cause they're not a fixed sign. Like they're going to try to reach their goals. Um, you know, whether or not they do is kind of dependent on their chart or just, you know, whatever it is they're doing.

Um, so like I said, like they start things so they'll start something and get it done. Um, if there are anything like me and my Capricorn moon, they might start a project and get really discouraged and then, you know, not want to do it anymore. Cause I know I go through that all the time. Um, on the other, other [inaudible]. Wow. On the other end of that, you have cancer, which cancer, they say that like people with like cancer in their chart or like if you're like me and you have specifically like Mars and cancer, cancer is ruled by the moon and the moon is always changing. So cancers generally tend to have very cyclical energy. Um, because like I said, the moon is always changing. So, so our, our cancers, which is also kind of why like cancers are known for being really moody. Um, so the whole thing with cancers was like, they're going to start a project.

If they feel really good and excited about it, they're gonna be like, whoa. Like I feel so good. I'm going to go do this, I'm going to get shit done. And then, you know, the next day they just might be in like an emotional pit of despair and they're just gonna be like, I literally don't want to do this now. I'm too upset or I'm too, you know, overworked or I'm too, you know, like they're definitely motivated by like feeling, which obviously like if you, if you're a cancer sun and you have Mars in Capricorn or Mars in Leo or like a fixed sign, like you know how you go about projects might be different. You might actually be more fixed on getting things done. Um, but um, typically speaking it's like, you know, Mars and cancer or just cancer. Um, if I'm just going on with that alone, like, you know, your, the way you get things done is going to be solely based off like your emotions and how you feel that day.

Um, and then so you have Aries and Libra, which um, Aries is very impulsive and areas is like, they say areas just like the soldier, you know, like they're always ready for a battle, always ready to go and you know, just they're ready for anything at any given modem given moment. Um, so like they're the kind of like sign that that like they'll get all have, again, this is a common thing with all the cardinal signs. They well get all, like happy and gung ho about stuff and they do it and they'll start it and then they'll be like, ah, actually I don't want to do this. Um, so like areas is like a good example of that because they're so quick and impulsive. There'll be like, oh my God, I love this idea. This is so great. And they're like so high energy. So they're like, let's do it.

Um, and I've noticed like from the areas I've met in my life that they're very like ideas kind of people. Like, I mean this goes back to what I was saying before, but like I've noticed areas in particular, cause they say areas is like the pioneer cause the first and the Zodiac. So they're, they're, the trailblazer is just like carving a new way for the other signs. Um, like their first, their number one. Um, so yeah, they'll like, they really love ideas and so when they get really like stoked on an idea, they're going to want to start it and initiate it and just go for it. Um, it's funny too, I remember I worked with an Aries sun person, um, like a year or two ago. And I just remember like every time, and I think about this every time I think of the sign Aries, I just remember him coming in to work one day and he was talking to me about Ilan mosque in like all the stuff he's doing and how like he wants to go to school and work for Elon Musk someday.

And like, that's just what I think of when I think of like people with areas, placements is like all these like cool ideas and new concepts and things like that. Um, okay, time to breathe. I'm okay. Going on to Libra. Um, yeah, so Libra is another cardinal sign, which I think it's pretty obvious to explain why Lee bread doesn't always get things done besides the fact that they're Ricardo slide. Um, I mean, they're really flighty and indecisive as it is. So like they might be weighing out the pros and cons of something or they might dive into something without weighing other options first and then they might decide later that like, oh yeah, I'm not going to do this. Um, which is an interesting dynamic is where it's areas we'll just dive into things and like, I think areas is more likely to just do something and then burnout, because like I said, they're so quick and high energy, they're just going to give their all and they're going to be like, well, you know what, I'm pretty tired.

I'm going to back out of this. Whereas libras are like, they're just indecisive from the beginning usually. So they'll start something and then they'll think about it more. Maybe they'll realize like, oh, this isn't what I thought it was. And I'll be like, actually, I don't want to do this. Um, so there are a little more like slow compared to like areas in that sense. But like, yeah, that's why there are cardinal sign and they don't, they just, they don't always follow through. Um, so yeah, that's your cardinal signs. Um, moving on to your fixed signs. So for fixed signs you have Leo Aquarius and then you have Scorpio and Taurus. So with Leo and Aquarius, Leos are just very, very stubborn. I mean like obviously cause they're a fixed sign. Um, well actually let me backtrack real quick before I get into this. I kind of forgot.

I have to explain what fixed signs are because that's why you're listening to this obviously. So I'm a fixed sign is basically just is basically just so it's pretty much exactly what it sounds like, which is I guess, I guess it's why I didn't think that I had to really explain it because fixed signs are just, they are stubborn. When they have their minds set on something, they are set on that one thing and that's all they want. And all they can think about, these signs are unwavering. They're determined. Um, whereas, so like before when I was talking about like cardinal signs and how they start things, fixed signs, they're going to be the science to finish things. Like, if you have, if you're a cardinal sign, you're working with a fixed person on their team, the cardinal person's going to start something, but the fixed side, they're going to be the ones to like pick up the pace, get the job done and just do it.

Um, I have to Leo Siblings and they're both super, super stubborn, um, and they're both very determined and they get a lot of shit done because of it. Um, my brother is a Leo and he spent like, I took them 10 years to finish college because he really wanted to get his business degree and get a good job. And he wanted to start his own real estate business, which he also did because like I said, fixed signs, they start something, they're going to do it. Um, yeah. So my brother, he, it took him like a really long time to finish school spirit, but that took, sorry. Um, it took him a really long time to finish school because he like, again, like money was like a big thing to school is expensive and he was just really term determined to do it. So for like 10 years, he worked his butt off getting his degree and he did it.

He was like, I'm going to go to school, I'm going to get, get the degree, I'm going to do it. And He, yeah, that's exactly what he did. He did it and then he started his own real estate company after that. Um, so yeah, fixed signs are just very, like they get a goal month, they're going to do it. They say they're gonna do it, they're going to get it done. Um, I mean, only I think the other thing too that kind of determines that like only if it seems like easy kind of, I mean like they'll still put in the work even if it's hard, which is like really admirable. But I know like, I guess for Leos especially sometimes if they start doing something and they might also kind of like, I'd be like, wow, that's a lot of work and I don't want to do that.

Cause Leo's like, you know, you think of the king or the Queen with Leo's it like I just want someone else to do it for me. But that's also not to say that Leo's don't have a really great, uh, work ethic because they do. Um, like I said, um, so yeah, it's interesting, um, because Leos are all about kind of like, you know, they're all about like themselves kind of, not to say that they're always super selfish, um, because they do care about people that they love. Um, but on the other end of that, you have a query. It's such as really stubborn sign. Um, which is interesting because where I feel like Leo's a little bit more about like conforming and wanting to be popular. Aquarius is more about like the opposite of that, like rebelling and not wanting to be popular. And, um, whereas, you know, Leo is a little bit more like all about me.

Aquarius is more all about everybody else. Like they're interested in community, in the world at large. Um, and not just, even though like, again, like I said, just be, like I said, Leos are selfish. They can also not be selfish. Same thing with Aquarius. Aquarius can be selfish, even though like, they do care a lot about other people and they're very humanitarian sign. Um, but Aquarius is also very stubborn, but like in a different way. Cause like Aquarius is the kind of sign, like you tell them no, and they're not gonna want to listen to you. They're going to go do the opposite. Like they're a little bit spiteful like that. Um, and the thing that sucks is like, they're very, very stubborn about it. Um, even though like Aquarius is also very openminded sign. So it's interesting I think like, cause I have my rising and Aquarius.

I think sometimes we can be really contradictory and like, you know, we'll want to go do the opposite of what someone tells us, but then at the same time, like we might do it in the moment, but then we might actually consider the other person's point of view like later on. Um, so yeah, that's kind of like the Leo Aquarius Dynamic. Um, on the, on the other end of that, you have, um, Scorpio and Taurus as opposite fixed signs. Um, which is interesting. So Scorpios are really, really stubborn. Also. Like, like I said, all of the fixed signs are really stubborn, so I might find myself repeating that a lot. Um, but yeah, so Scorpios are all about like death and rebirth and renewal and change and wanting to find answers and seeking out like the taboo. And on the opposite end of that you have tourists, which is, Taurus is all about, um, like towards is like to be comfortable.

So like it's almost like, whereas Scorpio is all about change and rebirth and renewal, like I said before, tours is a little bit more like they do not like change. They're really stubborn about not changing. Um, I see this a lot actually with my boyfriend who has Taurus Moon in Taurus. Um, he does not like change. He loves to be comfortable. He likes everything to stay exactly as it is. Um, which that's kind of why like tourists gets us bad rep for being really boring as a sign. Um, because they are just a very stable sign and they like to be financially secure and have all their stuff together and just everything to be in one spot and have it all be good. Whereas, um, Scorpio is not like that. I think Scorpio as a sign is a little bit more tumultuous. Like they're so emotional and they're always changing and they have very strong views.

I actually think the other reason people either love Scorpios are hate them is because they're such a fixed sign and they have such strong opinions that, um, you're either going to meet a Scorpio and you're going to love them because maybe like you'll agree with everything they're about or everything they say and um, you know, you're going to love them or maybe you're going to really strongly disagree with them and you're going to hate them. Um, cause that's been my personal experience with a Scorpios either they're really, really great and like I loved them or they're very, very stubborn and like, um, you know, I don't agree with their views. So like, or you know, I just don't agree with everything they say. So they're going to be like a little, you're not going to like them as much. Um, whereas like Taurus is like, so ours is still stubborn and, but I don't think like tourist doesn't really have like, yes, because our fixed on, they're going to have strong opinions, but not in the same way that Scorpio would have like strong opinions.

Um, because Taurus is ruled by Venus, which is also rode by Libra. So like people with that Venus energy going on, they're going to want to like keep the peace and um, you know, even though like they might not agree with you, they might, it's possible they might just be like, okay, like it's fine. Like that's irrespective of Blah, blah, blah. Or they might just stop talking about it. Um, because Taurus is also kind of a classy sign, so they're not going to really make too big of a scene. But at the same time, if you wrong a tourist or you hurt their feelings or um, you know, if you, if you do something to kind of betray them because they're a very loyal sign, which most of the fixed signs are, I'm a Taurus is going to cut you out. They're not going to talk to you.

They're not going to want anything to do with you. They're going to block you. Um, yeah. So they're very stubborn and they're very black and white. Like most of the, most of the signs. Um, like I said, they'll be there for you, but then the second you like betray them, they're just like they're done. Um, and they say it, like I said, the same thing goes for all the other signs too. But I have seen this a lot with tourists. Um, cause like they really like peace and comfort and things to not change. So I feel like if you come into a tourist is life and you wreck all that, they're going to be like, bye. See Ya. Never. Um, cause I've seen that happen time and time and again. Yeah. So, yeah, that is all the modes that took me a lot longer to explain than I thought it would.

Um, also I was kind of like, why am I talking about like the opposite signs? Um, so yeah, it actually does work out that I talked about the opposite signs and how they differ because I would say that also plays a big part in compatibility. Um, because the whole thing with opposite signs, they, I mean I think opposite signs work really well together most of the time. Um, obviously like sometimes opposite signs like don't work so it can kind of go either way. Like he can either be, you know, great like opposites attract situation or it can be like, oh my God, this person is so annoying. Get them away from me. Um, so I definitely think that's like a good thing to look at when you are looking into compatibility. Also, I feel like I'm jumping around a little bit. Um, it's not intentional.

I'm going to be honest with you guys. I do not script my shows. Um, if I script them at all, which I only did for like the first episode, it is very loosely scripted. I, so with this podcast I was just, I really want everything to sound natural and kind of like conversational and just, I'm not a big fan of like the whole, um, you know, scripted podcast thing. Cause I'm a person, I'm not a robot. And my whole goal with this podcast is like when you're listening to this, I want you to feel like we're having a conversation and I'm in the room with you, like telling you about your compatibility with this guy you're dating. Or maybe there's a fuck boy and your life that you were kind of over, but you still want to know about his chart or you know, maybe there's a girl you're interested in.

I don't know who's, you know, whoever's listening to this. Um, so yeah, that's like my whole goal. Like I just want, I wanted to feel like we're friends and we're hanging out. So this is kind of let's, we'll hop that that see fucking it up already. Um, so yeah, this whole podcast is kind of just like how I would talk as if I were talking to you. Even when I edit this podcast, I do very minimal editing. There might be a few little slip up things that I might like edit out or like, you know, I put it, I obviously like I'll put it in my intro and all that, but overall, like, I really don't edit this, I don't script it. Everything's just kind of natural. Like I'll, I'll record an episode and I'll just think like, what do I want to talk about today?

And then I'll just literally just turn on my computer turned on Mike and just go off that. Um, which, I mean, who knows, I might change it. Maybe I'll try to script stuff more in the future right now though, this kind of like, this works for me. I'm good with this. Um, but yeah, so if you guys find me kind of jumping around a lot and it's kind of confusing, um, bear with me. Um, I do try to like get back on topic. So, um, yeah. So anyways, now that that little blurb is over. Um, so yeah, let's get back to compatibility. Um, so the other thing you want to look for with compatibility is the elements. Um, the elements are so you have water, fire, earth and air. Um, so I'll start with like water signs I guess. So water signs would be cancer, Pisces, Scorpio.

Um, and Oh my God, which 1:00 AM I forgetting? Cancer. Pisces. Scorpio is no, wait, I think that's all of them actually. Yeah. That as there should only be like three science for each four. Like the four elements. Cause you know, math three times four is 12. Okay. Yeah, I get really tripped up because I was like, I know it's like there's four for each of the modes and there's only three months. Okay. That makes sense now. Anyways. Um, yeah, so it's cancer, Pisces, Scorpio and so the water center very sensitive and emotional and um, they just pick up on a lot of things. Like that's why they say like, you know, water signs might be psychic because they're very, like, they're just these emotional people. They wear their heart on their sleeves. Um, they're very sensitive, um, people and they like people that are like, you know, they're also very empathetic and I think they like people that are also kind of empathetic and um, stable cause like I think in a way like the water sends a very not stable, um, because their emotions just kind of like control their lives a little bit.

And that's like what they run off of. Obviously. Like if they have other stuff in their chart that's going to change a lot of that. Um, we had the water signs or just think of like water, like water is a liquid. It takes on the form of whatever container you put it in. Um, and that's kind of like how water sends Arthur emotions. It just, it kind of dictates what they do, um, and how they react to things. So they're just very sensitive and sometimes they can even be a little bit like touchy, not like physically touchy, but I mean like sensitive, touchy. Like, you know, I was talking to my friend Kyle, who's a cancer the other day. Um, and we were both, I have like a lot of cancer in my chart and we were always talking about somebody. It's like, we'll just be doing something or we'll be really stressed out in a bad mood and like someone will talk to us and we'll be like a, what do you want?

What is it? And you know, we get kind of snappy with people, which I mean isn't, you should never use your chart to justify stuff like that. You should try to work on it, which is what I've had to do over the years, um, with my boyfriend. But, um, it's, that's kind of like the whole thing. I mean like with water signs are just very emotional and very sensitive. Um, so moving on from that. So where you have the water science, we were very like, kind of like in not in stable non-stable. Um, you have the earth signs which are much more stable. Um, the earth signs consists of Capricorn, Virgo and Taurus. So all of these signs, the thing they have in common is they are all very like, like I said, they're stable, they're grounded, they're down to earth, they're very logical and practical. Um, they like, you know, money and material things like these are the signs that are gonna really like, um, you know, like material possessions even though like you might be listening to this and you're one of the sons and you're like, I'm not a material person.

Um, I'm just, you know, generally speaking, cause like I said, and I'm always gonna say this, I'm going to keep saying it. There can be other things in your chart. They're going to dictate how you feel about things. Um, also this is just like the, the textbook kind of like example that I'm giving you guys. So, um, they're going to be all about like, you know, money and making money and financial security and having nice things. Like these are the signs that like, they're not going to want to shop at Walmart. Like, I mean on one hand, like yes, they might be shopping at Walmart because some of these signs tend to be like cheap. Um, because again, they like to have financial security so they might also not spend a lot of money on things. Um, but at the same time like they might, so like they might save a lot of money in shop at Walmart for like some things, but other things, um, that they know it's going to matter.

Like, I guess the best way to put it is there a quality over quantity a lot of the time. Um, because they're not like, you know, an air sign like Libra, which is ruled by Venus where they're all about like luxury and they just want the best of the best. It's more like, you know, if they really need something and they know they're going to use it for a long time or it's something they need, they're going to splurge on it and spend more money and they're going to really look at the quality of it. They're not just going to go to like if they needed a pair of like, I dunno, like boots for the winter or something like that. You know, they might go to Walmart and they might get the cheap pair of boots that are, you know, maybe they'll fall apart or something.

But if they really need these boots and they know they're going to get a lot of use, they might like go online and buy something that's a little more high end and something they know it's going to last them a long time because they know it's like an investment. Um, it could go either way, but that's generally like how they are and they're very stable. They're very practical and love. They really like, um, they really, I mean I would say like, they would either want someone who is as stable as they are or like, you know, sometimes like water signs actually go really well with our signs because of the fact that, you know, they're so emotional that, um, I don't know, it kind of gets them to realize like how insensitive they can be sometimes. And not to say that they're super cold and insensitive, but because they're so practical and logical that being with someone who kind of wears their heart on their sleeve or shows their emotions, um, you know, it can kind of give them a wake up call and kind of help them to get in tune with their own emotions.

Um, so like compatibility wise, like I would say that like, so when you're looking at the elements when you're looking at water and earth, this is like a great rule of thumb to look at with astrology and compatibility. So you can look at um, you know, so earth and water is a really good couple. Like those two like go together really well because it can kind of learn something from each other. Um, earth science kind of Mesh well with, you know, other earth signs. Sometimes I think they could even go well with air science, which we'll talk more about. Air Signs that a little bit. Um, they also go really well with what law are you said that water sense. So yeah, earth goes with earth or watered. Typically speaking, obviously there's exceptions to all the rules. And then water signs go really well with earth science or other water signs.

Um, although I will say I don't really love water signs with other water sounds cause I think they're both so emotional that it can make for a really toxic relationship. But that's also not to say they don't have other things in their chart that may might make it work out more. So keep that in mind with everything I say. Um, you know, take it all with a grain of salt. But yeah, so that's your sons and your water signs. And then you have your fire signs, which your fire signs, our Aries, Leo and Sagittarius. Um, these signs are, these are all like very ego driven signs and they really care about being popular and like what people think about them. And do you know, like they really like to have a partner that like kind of makes them look good or someone they can brag about or someone that just, you know, like I said, really just looks good.

Um, they also might be a little more shallow in regards to love. Like they might care more about someone's physical appearance, um, as opposed to, you know, like a water or assign who might care more about like, you know, their personality. Not to say that like all fire signs are shallow. Um, like I said, there's exceptions to the rule. I'm going to keep saying it because I really don't want any angry emails being like, you said this about my sign and that's not how I am. Blah Blah Blah. Cause like I said, there's so many things that go into astrology than what I'm just talking about. This is just your basic stuff. Um, but yeah, fire sense also like I think they really liked people who are funny because they themselves have like a really good sense of humor and they're kind of fun and funny to be around.

And they also really like adventure and doing stuff because fire is like, it's like rapid active move in so that like these are the signs that really like to do physical stuff. Like, they might want a partner who's going to go to the gym with them or like, you know, do, uh, uh, I dunno, like a tough mudder or some other physical race with them. Like they're also very competitive too. So they like, they like people that are gonna like stroke their egos and make them feel good or look good. Um, and if they like you back then they're probably gonna um, you know, give you the same in return. So that is your fire signs. Also, I keep like turning away from the mic because my cat really wants me to pet him and of course I'm petting him, but like I keep getting really distracted.

So anyway, um, oh my God, that was him crawling over my lap and hitting the Mike with his tail cause he's needy. Um, so anyways, that was your fire signs, your air signs. Are Your Air signs or are I'm Libra Aquarius, which it's funny because a lot of people think Aquarius is a water sign. Aquarius is the water bearer, but it is not a water sign. Um, so do not be fooled. Um, I actually read something not too long ago about how he gets Aquarius kind of got named Aquarius during the time it was because, um, in like ancient Greece or Rome, I might be wrong about that. Um, in one of those they notice that the time of the year that was Aquarius season was like the rainy season, which is kind of where queries like God, it's whole like archetype from, um, so yeah, it's Libra, Aquarius and Gemini.

Those are the air signs. The air signs are very logical and very witty and very, um, intellectual. They're very like of the mind and like mental. So, um, you have like Libra, which is all about like beauty and abundance and like love and balance. Balance is a big thing with Libra, so libras and air signs. So they're always weighing out their options, always thinking about the pros and cons, which is why they're so indecisive all the time. Um, yeah, so that's kind of like what they're all about it. Um, for some reason, I know it's not the card associated with Libra, but when I think of Libra, I always think of like the two of swords in the Taro deck because it shows a girl with her like blindfold on and she has like the two swords. And she asked to like make a decision but like a very concise, like logical decision.

And I always think of Libra even though like I know it's not the typical card associated with Libra, kind of Ryan's who of that. Um, but yes, let's Libra and then you have Gemini, Gemini, like I said before, it's like the student and they're just always taking in this information and wanting to learn and wanting to like know everything and just like I said, taking it all in. Um, and they're kind of like, like I said, Virgo and Gemini are a little bit similar because they're both ruled by mercury, but Gemini is like, they're very, they're just like all over the place. Like there, the sign that's going to have like 15 million tabs open and they're going to pick up on things really quickly and they're going to be like speed reading through articles and like, you know, they just do everything so fast and like really learn everything so fast.

Um, whereas I feel like Virgo kind of takes it and they, we like to die to kind of just like digest it a little bit more. Um, so the Gemini and then you have Aquarius, which Aquarius is very like humanitarian and they like ideas and they like, um, I think they kinda like to, because they're like the contrarians of the Zodiac. I think they liked consider other options that aren't conventionally like accepted by society because Aquarius is very unconventional sign. So they're just going to kind of like, you know, they really look into the lake taboo things. Like they're the ones that are going to be kind of like, I think sometimes like Aquarius can be kind of crunchy. Like they're very into like a lot of like spiritual stuff like sage and like open relationships and sex parties and like kings. And like, I don't know why.

Like those are like the kind of things like, you know, and like I was going to say theater but is not really that unconventional. But like they have like a lot of like out there kind of hobbies cause they're like, they're very curious in the sense of it. Like, you know, everyone rejects this one thing I want to know about this other thing. Um, so like I said, they're very like rebellious in that sense. Um, and they take on like a lot of new ideas. Um, I must be like, not to get too political but Aquarius or like the anarchists or the Socialists sometimes with the Zodiac. Um, only because like I said, like I said, they like things are generally not accepted by society and so like they're into all these like taboo kind of a things similar to the way Scorpio is.

Um, but just a little bit different. Um, so yeah, the, your, your air signs are very like of the mind. They're very intellectual. They like to know things. They like to ask questions. I like to weigh out their options. They like to research, um, suds or your air signs, Eric. And they're also very like social, um, they like to talk a lot. Um, especially Gemini, but all of them, they're all very chatty, which is why I'm so, air signs typically go really well with fire signs or other air signs. Same thing. Fire signs go with air signs or other fire signs. Um, because they kind of just mesh really well together. Um, because they're both like, neither of them are very sensitive. So like they kind of like, and they're both like the more extroverted signs where it's with, um, with your water signs in your earth signs,

they're going to be a little bit more introverted in a sense. They're not going to be the ones that want to go. Like, I mean, you know, like I said, yes, like they're good. They might want to go to venture out and do other stuff. Um, but they're, they're like much more like they want to hang out with like one or two people or you know, they want to stay at home and not want to do stuff where like air signs and fire center, like, yeah. Like, let's go out, let's party, let's do all this stuff. I'm, you know, they're all about it. Um, so yeah, so those via this ended up being so long, it's probably going to be one of my longest podcast. I do. I might even do a part two at this point. Um, so yeah, they're, they're going to be the signs that are going to be like, yeah, let's party.

Let's go do stuff. Um, and yeah, so, so getting back to what I was actually trying to say, um, so those are just like a lot of like your general rule of thumb, things that you can, um, that you can look for when you are looking at, um, you know, Sun signs or any placement really, you can kind of apply it to all the signs. I mean they're all going to change based on like the house they're in and the, um, you know, what planet you're looking at it, it's all going to be a little bit different. Um, but those are the general, just the general rule of thumb. Things you can look at when you were looking into compatibility and you're looking at someone's sunshine or any sign really, um, and seeing like if you know whether or not you're going to be compatible, whether or not you're going to work together.

Um, so yeah, I guess that's part one. Um, because it's ended up being so long. I think I'm just going to call this part one and I'm gonna end this in a second and we're gonna start part two and then you guys can all check it out and love it. Um, so yeah, that was your basic guide to compatibility. Um, thank you for listening. Welcome to episode three of the space witch podcast, what's up guys? Um, so it's like 11 o'clock at night. I just randomly decided to film this episode. I'm honestly so, so tired. Um, I should probably be sleeping right now, but I'm not. Um, I haven't really been able to sleep for like a couple of weeks now. And yeah, I don't know, my mind's just so busy at night. I figured tonight I would kind of just wait to go to bed and, you know, let my mind wander and kind of burn itself out until I get tired, which I think I'm just about there. But, uh, I dunno, I, I've been toggling around with like a lot of random stuff today and you know, do you ever just feel like, you know, you're doing, you're trying to do all this stuff to, you know, make something work and then you know, it doesn't work and you get frustrated so you get a lot of things half done but don't actually like finish anything. That's kind of how I've been feeling the last couple of days and today in particular. So I figured if I at least record a podcast episode, I'll feel like I at least did something with my day. I didn't just, you know, half do a bunch of, you know, random things. Um, so that's what's going on with me right now. Um, let's talk about what's going on in the planets.

I didn't just, you know, half do a bunch of, you know, random things. Um, so that's what's going on with me right now. Um, let's talk about what's going on in the planets. Um, today I actually wanted to talk about a Venus retrograde more in depth a little bit. Now that we're officially in Venus retrograde. I know I talked about it some on my last podcast. Um, but I just, I really want him to talk about it because I know I personally, I am feeling this retrograde so hard. I was feeling it a little bit before. Um, it started, uh, initially, um, which I think with retrogrades it's funny, the shadows are always a little more intensive than were actually in it.

Um, I noticed the same thing with mercury retrograde. It's like, you know, going in and out of it, it's like really intense and then in the middle you kind of like settle in and it's okay. Um, but yeah, I dunno. It's, um, it's crazy. It is so crazy. Um, yeah, so basically if you guys remember anything I kind of mentioned in my last post, sorry, not post. Um, last episode a retrogrades are basically when a planet appears to be moving backwards, um, all the planets can go retrograde. Um, and uh, yeah. So sorry. I'm so tired guys. Bear with me here. It's going to be a tough one. Um, so yeah, when a planet goes retrograde basically just appears to be moving backwards, like if you were looking at it from down here on earth. Um, but it, it's an optical illusion. It's not really moving backwards.

Um, so they say that when a planet goes backwards or is in retrograde, that the energy that the planet gives us gives off, is moving backward and not wow god, uh, the struggle Israel. Um, yeah. So it's moving backwards. I've said that like six times already. You get it. Um, and so yeah, the energy becomes internalized. That's the word I was looking forward to really. It was internalized. Um, yeah, so the energy becomes internalized and when, um, more personal planets like mercury and Venus go retrograde and there were being internalized like this, what happens a lot is, um, we tend to be kind of like distracted and in our head, and it's interesting because, you know, we see this a lot. Like it's more intense obviously with mercury retrograde, you know, people forget stuff. We forget to text people back. We forget to respond to emails.

You forget to check things, you know, this is how we end up in these crazy situations during mercury retrograde. Because, you know, we're all like in our head and you know, we're focused on other things that, you know, everything else on the outside we just totally forget about. Um, so I, it's interesting because I noticed us a lot more with Venus retrograde as well, not to quite to the same extent as mercury retrograde. Um, but I have noticed that, you know, people tend to forget certain things or things are a little bit delayed. Um, you know, just like, just like mercury retrograde. And I think we're all in our head about, you know, what do we want? How do we want to make money? How do we want to change our appearance? Maybe, um, maybe, you know, we think about our relationship problems or past relationships, uh, because there's, I was reading something earlier about, it was like the three things of Venus rules and those three things are, you know, luxury, beauty, um, money, finances, because you know, Venus is like abundance and wealth. And then the last thing is love and relationships. So those three things we get really put under the microscope during Venus retrograde.

Um, so you know, right now, like we know we're all thinking about these things. So for some people, you know, you might have relationship issues that you know, need to be dealt with at are popping up again. You might break up with someone. So when my break up with you, you might have an x that comes back from your past and you know, maybe they want to hook up, maybe they want to reconnect. Uhm, you know, it's just taking us to, it's just, it's just making us take a step back and kind of reevaluate and rethink all of these things that, um, you know, may not have served us in the past or, you know, maybe we're trying to get rid of things that aren't serving us currently. Um, maybe you're reconsidering getting, you know, a tattoo or getting your hair done or getting a piercing or do you know, maybe plastic surgery if that's, if that's your thing.

Um, maybe those are the things you're thinking about. Or maybe you want to go shopping and spend all this money or maybe you want to, um, you know, buy some new stuff and get, you know, get some shiny things. Um, maybe, you know, it's just like so much. And so what I'm trying to say is, um, you know, these, these are the things that are just going to be effecting us during Venus retrograde. I know, like I keep kind of noticing it's only been like a couple, not even a couple of days. I think what's today the sixth, I think I'm recording this on the first day of the retrograde, but I'm already noticing, you know, the effects of it. I have been noticing the effects. Like, you know, I've been really good with saving my money and all of a sudden I'm like, Ooh, shiny things. Like I want this and I want that.

And like, oh, it's just, you know, it's a couple of bucks, whatever. And I really have to reel it in and remind myself that, you know, I don't need to spend all this money right now. I need to wait. Um, you know, same thing, like, you know, relationship issues. I'm me personally. Like my relationship has been, um, you know, a lot past issues have been kind of being brought up again and I'm having to revisit those and work on them. And you know, you have to remind yourself not to do anything drastic because it's a retrograde and sometimes, you know, we make decisions during retrogrades that we think are going to be good for us. And then, you know, once we go out of retrograde in the planet goes direct again and we might realize we might not have made the best decision. Um, because we are all in our head at the time.

So, you know, it's really good to be mindful of retrogrades and to, you know, you can't put your life on pause for a retro grade. You can't just, you know, a hide and not do anything, even though I'm sure, like we'd all love to just like lay on the couch and watch Netflix for a couple of weeks, you know, I mean, I know I would love to do that. Um, 'cause I love Netflix. But anyway. Um, yeah. So we can't, we can't hide from these things. These are things we kind of have to deal with. But I think knowing, just taking this step and knowing that retro grades are a thing that we need to be conscious of, that can just help us so much, to be way more mindful. I'm moving forward so when we have these urges to spend that money or get back with our x or you know, we're fighting with someone we're in a relationship with or dealing with these problems.

It makes us, it makes us, but it helps us to take a step back and kind of reevaluate what we're doing and think about, you know, what's working, what's not working. Um, really that's just the purpose of a retro grade. Um, for any planet really. Not even just, you know, Venus retrograde, but all retrogrades you know, retrogrades are always about, you know, re-planning rethinking, reevaluating, just really taking that time to check in with yourself. And this is actually why I love retro grades. A lot of people are like, oh my God, I hate retrogrades. I just want to hide. I don't want to do anything, I'm just going to like lock myself in the house for months. And I just, I dunno, I, I had this one mercury retrograde a couple months ago, maybe a year ago. It was, it feels more recent than I was. And you know, obviously it had its challenges, but, um, I just kind of, I learned to embrace it.

I just, you know, I, what I did was I just reminded myself to be aware of it and double check everything, you know, make sure you have all your ducks in a row, you know, checks and things once, twice, three times so you're not forgetting anything. And then honestly, I kind of learned to just enjoy this, um, this quiet energy, cause I don't know if you guys noticed, but when personal plans like mercury and Venus go into retrograde, things just are so much quieter and really it's, it's kind of Nice, you know, because I know we want to lock ourselves up and we can, um, you know, it is a, it is kind of a good time to do that even though I just said, you know, the opposite. Um, but things are just quieter and it's really kind of Nice to just spend some time with yourself and take that inventory.

Or even like, one of my favorite things to do do during a retrograde is do, you know, go visit friends or family that I haven't seen in a while or I haven't hung out with. There was something really, I dunno, just like cozy in a way about, you know, retrogrades and hanging out with, you know, people you haven't seen in awhile. I know I've talked about past relationships and meeting up with people. Um, which kind of, I guess those, they kind of tie into each other. Um, but even just hanging out with friends at like, you hang out with a lot. Um, you know, like that's, that's like the good way to kind of harness the retro grade energy. I would say, you know, don't make any drastic decisions. If someone was, you know, treated you poorly in the past, don't go back to them, you know, stand up for yourself, stand up for yourself.

No, no, your worth know. You know what your value is as a person. Don't allow people to keep treating you like crap. But you know, look at it this, I maybe you have a friend that you just haven't connected with in a while and you know, you didn't really have a bad falling out, but you know, you just kind of lost touch. This is a good time to reach out to those people and, you know, hang out with them and just, you know, enjoy each other's company. You know, put your phone down, uh, reconnect with, you know, people like in person, like go get coffee, go get a drink, go, you know, go out to dinner or lunch, you know, do something fun. And just, you know, really like, you know, see what people are up to, ask how they're doing. Um, you know, let them know what you're doing.

It can be really, um, you know, therapeutic and Cathartic sometimes to just use this quiet time to just hang out with people. Um, you know, I, I personally like I said before, I really, really enjoy it and that's why I love, love retro grades. Um, you know, a lot of people just, you know, I know every time mercury goes into retrograde, you know, everyone freaks out and they're like, oh, time for two weeks of how, like, I'm going to hate this and you know, Yada, Yada, Yada, but really like, you know, you just got to work with it. And that's the thing. Like, you know, people think all these placements and planets and aspects and astrology are bad and they're not bad. They're just challenging, which, you know, that sounds very, um, I don't know how to explain it. I guess it sounds, it's like a, almost like a buzzword and the astrology community.

I don't think everyone likes to hear like, oh, it's not bad. It's just challenging cause it sounds like we're, you know, we're sugarcoating things and trying to make things sound like there's something they're not. But really, you know, life is all about balance and you have good things and you have bad things and you know, really you can't have one without the other and bad things are really just, you know, they're here to, you know, show you the good things and to kind of get you to either get your shit together or you know, highlight like how good other things are. And you know, they're, they're just important. Like you can't, I said this in my last podcast too, but you know, it's like I said, it's, you know, no mud, no lotus. If you know, you don't go through the mud, you're not going to get the Lotus.

And I'm probably going to say this so much because I love that saying, um, because I think it's so beautiful. I actually, I have a Lotus Tattoo on my side because I love that saying so much and it's totally something I live by. Like I in the kind of person who, you know, when I face challenges and hardships, my day to day life, I, you know, yeah. I'm like, I'm a person, I get upset, I get frustrated, I get discouraged. But you know, I really love to work through these things because I love to see like a better outcome and you know, it sucks, you know. Um, you know, I was talking to one of my, my astrologer friends like a couple of years ago and I was like, I just was talking to them and I was like, you know, isn't it weird that I kind of can't wait for my Saturn return only because I just want to see the good that's going to come out of it.

And she was just like, girl, you are crazy. She's like, I've never met anyone that's excited for their Saturn return. And I was like, I know, I know it's totally crazy, but I can't wait just because I want to see like, you know, cause I know something good's gonna come out of it. And that's the thing with any bad situation as you know, you go through the bad to get the good and you know, it's important that when you are in those good spots in life to, you know, take time to appreciate them because everything is temporary, which is, you know, a good thing and it's also a good reminder to stay present. Um, that's totally something I try to incorporate into my everyday life, um, especially with these retro. So anyways, I'm totally getting off topic. Um, but going back to Venus retrograde, um, yeah.

So, oh my God, I'm so uncomfortable. I'm sitting on my couch and I'm uncomfortable. How's this happening? Um, anyway, and another thing I just wanted to kind of highlight, um, so another thing that's going to help you navigate a Venus retrograde, getting back on topic, um, I'm really like, I'm just, I promise I'm trying to get the hang of this podcast thing. Um, so another thing I really wanted to highlight was that with Venus retrogrades, with any retrogrades, it's so important to find out what house in your chart that the planet is retrograding in, because this is going to give you a lot more insight into what is currently going on in your life right now. Um, and what is going to, you know, like what it just, it Kinda just shows you what areas you're going to be focusing on and highlighting during, you know, however many weeks that mercury or Venus or any planet is in retrograde.

So for example, um, right now, like Venus is retrograde again, Scorpio and it's in my nine pounds. So the 9,000 is all about, you know, higher education and learning and travel, long distance travel, um, you know, things like that, spirituality, religion, and right now and so Venus is all about, like I said before, it's about money, love, relationships, uh, luxury beauty. And I thought it was interesting that, um, you know, so Venus can also be related to like things like fame and popularity and stuff like that. And like I said before, money. Um, and it was just interesting cause you know, like retro grades, they get you to revisit the past. And um, some of you might know this, some of you might not know. I run a Vegan food blog called it's a plentiful life. I will link it in the description and the show notes if you want to go check that out.

Um, I really, really love food and I love cooking and I love Vegan food more specifically. Um, if that's something you're into, go check it out. Um, and so anyways, I kind of did this on and off for a while working on this blog. And you know, it's something I'm really passionate about, but it's, you know, with my day job it's really hard to keep up with it. And so as we're going into this retrograde, I, you know, decided to just like kick it into gear and start, you know, working on this blog again and I'm still trying to do little things to, you know, work on it. Like I said before, I am frustrated a little bit currently because I keep trying to do stuff and then I hit a wall and then I get frustrated and then I just tried to do something else.

It seems easier when really I just need to suck it up and you know, fix the problems that I'm having and push through it so I can have, you know, better quality content on my blog. Um, and, you know, so right now, like that's, it's interesting because in this retrograde with, you know, Venus retrograding in my ninth house, which is all about, you know, money and having it there in higher learning, like I've been educating myself more lately on how we can, you know, take my blog to that next level. How can I make my blog better? Um, I've actually been listening a lot to the gold digger podcast by Jenna Kutcher. I love, love, love her podcast. It's so funny because I listened to her podcast a few years ago. Um, when I, before I moved to Maine and you know, I, I had my blog then and it was new and I kind of just worked on it when I could and I really just wasn't in the space to, um, consistently make blog posts then.

I'm still not fully there, but I'm working on it. And you know, I tried to listen to her podcast a while ago cause I was like, someone told me about it and I was like, oh, that sounds cool. And I started listening to and I was like, ah, none of this applies to me. This is all like way above my head and you know, fast forward two years and you know, I'm revisiting my blog and listening to this podcast and I am so inspired by the things that she posts. Um, and the thing she says, she has like such a great personality and like, you know, the way she talks and delivers her message is so inspiring. And I've learned so much about creating content and blogging and Instagram and all the fun stuff from listening to her podcast. Even though my non Tufts is tactically in Scorpio. Um, and you know, Scorpio is all about passion and desires and what you love. And I love my food blog. I love eating food, I love talking about food, I love, um, making food and creating recipes. So I am, you know, doing all that I can to really reconnect and get back to that. And you know, it's so funny how the universe sort of works because like I said, you know, a few years ago I was so not interested in working on this project at all and doing this blog.

I mean, I was, but like I just, I didn't have the room to flourish because I wasn't in my own space. I was in a very difficult, um, living situation at the time. And it just, you know, living with other people, it just like didn't allow me to do that. So now I'm like living on my own. I have my own space and I just feel like, you know, the universe is just presented me with this all the space and opportunity to really flourish and follow my dreams and my passions and even do things like this podcast. Like, you know, a couple of years ago, I couldn't have done this podcast at 1130 at night and living with, you know, like six other people, like, trust me, like it wouldn't have been quiet enough for me to do this podcast. And, you know, here I am, you know, with my cat sleeping over on the couch next to me and you know, my fiance's sleeping upstairs and I just have all this space to myself and it's so wonderful.

Um, so, you know, just, you know, pay attention to what I guess the universe or whatever you believe in is, you know, telling you right now with this Venus retrograde, um, you can go on Google and you know, find out what you know. I think astro.com has some really good, you know, great tools for finding out what house, the current, you know, um, retrograde planets are transiting through or all the planets are transiting through. So pay attention to that and see what it's highlighting. Um, really quickly, I think I'm just, what I'm going to do is I'll, I'll try to give you guys a quick rundown of what, um, what this retrograde is going to be like for you, um, and um, through all the houses. Um, so I'll explain that really quick. Also, hopefully there isn't too much background noise from me moving my mic around.

My back is actually killing me from trying to sit up straight because I have terrible posture, so, and I can't get my mic stand to like adjust to where I want it. So I'm holding my mic for the rest of the episode so that I can sit and be comfortable. Um, so yeah, I'm just going to quickly explain like Venus retrograde through all the houses and how those might be affecting you right now. Um, so starting with the first house, the first house is all about your identity and your appearance specifically. It's all about the physical body because the first house is associated with Aries. Um, which areas is all about like, you know, the physical and tangible and ego and how you look and how you appeared to people when you meet them in person and stuff. Um, so if you have Venus retro grading three, your first house, um, you might be dealing with, you know, issues you have with your appearance, your self esteem, how people see you, how you come off to people.

Um, you might have a B having to kind of check in with you, how you come across and what your general attitude is towards, um, people that you, you know, just, just the way you come off and like, you know, your, your personal relationships. Um, and stuff like that because that's, you know, all the stuff that has to do with that. So that's going to be a big emphasis for you right now. I'm on your second house. If you have Venus retrograde in your second house, you might be revisiting things having to do with finances cause your second house, it relates with tourists and horse, you know, things or um, maybe not finances but your material possessions or um, you know, this could also maybe tie in a little bit with your self worth or what you're good at or your talents. Um, how you express yourself.

This is, these are all things that are going to be highlighted for you during this Venus retrograde. I would also say that, you know, be extra cautious with your money if you have Venus retrograde in your second house because uh, the second house is a money house and Venus retrograding there. It just trust me, like be extra cautious. You're probably going to be very, very tempted to spend money that you might not be able to spend right now. So just watch out for that. Um, moving onto the third house. The third house is um, you know, real by Geminis, so that's all he think and communicate. Um, it can also be like, you know, your siblings or your neighbors or things to do with your neighborhood kind of a thing. Um, so with your Venus retrograde in your third house, you might have issues, uh, that are reoccurring with your siblings or, um, maybe you have neighbors that you don't get along with, uh, people that you're like very close to.

Um, this could even be like, um, you might have a lot of like inner, like mental struggles or issues with like communication. Um, this can also have to do with like short distance travel. Um, so things pertaining to that might be an issue for you right now. Um, I want to say maybe you might have like car issues or something. I don't know why. I just think that because I'm thinking like short distance travel and cars and you know, money. So like maybe you, you might end up having to pay like a lot of money to get your car fixed with Venus retrograde in your third house. Um, maybe not. I'm kind of just throwing that out there. Uh, moving onto your fourth house, the fourth house is all about cancer stuff and cancer is all about the home and being home and being all snuggly in your house.

That's kind of what I think of when I think of cancer. Um, so having Venus retrograde in cancer and your fourth house, uh, you might have a lot of family issues going on right now or maybe you might have issues going on with your home. Maybe you want to buy a bigger house, but you can't afford it. Or maybe you have, um, maybe you're fighting with like your parents or someone else in your family. Um, I know I mentioned siblings in the last one, but the, again, the fourth house is all about familial issues. Maybe you have a son or daughter or an aunt or an uncle that you're fighting with right now. Um, you know, or maybe you're just having some sort of issues with your house or maybe another thing is maybe you want to buy a lot of decorations to decorate your house.

Um, you know, maybe you're like walking through the aisles at target and seeing all the, you, all the, all the shiny things at target, you know, because really, you know, what's the joke about how, you know, you don't go to target to get stuff. Target tells you what you need. Some of you might be dealing with that a lot right now, especially with Venus retro getting in your Fourth House. I know, I always struggle with that. Just, you know, in general as like a personal thing anyway, um, when we ended the fifth house, so the fifth house is all about children and it's about fun and play and gambling. So with Venus and your second house, um, be very, very careful with this because you know, it's, you might lose a lot of money through gambling or maybe you want to go out and party with your friends and you don't have money to do that right now.

And you know, that's just really highlighting, you know, that stuff right now. Maybe you have friends that like, you know, they want to go out and you know, you keep saying yes but you really shouldn't. Or maybe you might have issues with your kids if you have kids. Um, and again, I know I mentioned family and the last two, but like really the third, fourth and fifth houses are all very um, family based and very like they say, if you have a lot of planets like towards the bottom of your natal chart, you're a very private person. Um, so like it would make sense to all three of those have a lot to do with things like, you know, your family and pride that matters, such as that. Um, so yeah, that's your fifth house. So like, just be careful, like, you know, don't you know, you might want to like drink a lot or you might go gambling, um, you, you, you might lose a lot of money through doing this stuff.

So be careful with that. Um, same thing. Like you might want to buy accessories, like, yeah, I don't know. Maybe you want to buy your kids clothes or uh, you know, again, you're just, you're, you might just want to spend a lot of money on like fun things, which I totally get because I feel that way all the time. Um, but yeah, just be careful and you know, maybe you're re evaluating things I have to do with that. Maybe you're reconsidering rethinking, um, maybe before Venus went retrograde, you went out too much or you drink too much or you gambled too much and now you're taking the time to reassess and reevaluate those things. Um, going onto the sixth house, your sixth house is the Virgo house. Um, it's all about routines and health and um, it can even be about servitude and how you serve others.

So maybe in this Venus retrograde you find that you are, you know, giving away too much to others and you're doing too much people pleasing and maybe you're realizing you need to stop. Maybe that's an issue in your relationship right now with Venus are maybe you are in a one sided relationship where you're giving, giving, giving, and you are not getting anything in return. Um, that's going to be greatly highlighted in this Venus retrograde for you. Um, another thing might be like maybe you're not taking care of yourself the way you should be and that's popping back up. Um, maybe it's costing you a lot of money. You know, maybe, um, I don't know, maybe you want to spend a lot of money on things that are going to affect your everyday life. Maybe you want to be more productive or maybe you want to lose weight or maybe you want to, you know, do all these things to better yourself.

Um, so you know, you really just take that time to check in with yourself and find out what you really need and what serving you. It's not serving you with Venus in the sixth house during this retrograde. Um, moving on to the seventh house. So the seventh house with Vietnam retrograde, you know, Venus is really an hits home here because Venus is ruled by Libra in Libra rules the seventh house. So this is going to be all about your partnerships and relationships. Um, these things are going to be especially highlighted during this Venus retrograde. I mean really like you're really, relationships can be highlighted, you know, anywhere in your chart with Venus retrograde because that's what Venus is, is partnerships and relationships. But really if it's in your seventh that's, it's going to be even more prominent because like I said, it's in, it's a home here.

So, um, you're going to be really kind of checking in with, you know, how are your relationships with maybe not just a romantic partner, but how are you relating to other people just in general, um, you know, take a look at your business partnerships. You might have some issues there or take a look at your friendships. Um, or you know, like I said, familial relationships maybe, um, this is going to be very greatly a highlighted, um, under this and you know, um, yeah, so, so yeah. Um, like I said, I'd take time to reassess, reconsider, thinking about what you're doing. Um, don't be impulsive and yeah, moving onto the eighth house, eighth house. The eighth house is Scorpio stuff. So this is going to be all about like, you know, death, sex, taboo, um, endings and beginnings cycles. Um, addictions or obsessions is also going to highlight other people's finances and other people's possession.

So, um, where he talked about the second house where the second house is, you know, your money, the eighth house on the opposite end of the is going to be other people's money. Um, maybe you have a partner or a spouse that is, you know, they spend too much money or they gamble too much or you know, they, maybe there are a hoarder or something. Um, maybe, you know, maybe you're in a relationship where your partner makes all the money in your relationship and they like the breadwinner, maybe they have issues with their job, um, where there's an issue pertaining to their job that like, heaps, you know, recurring. Maybe you are. Um, man, I don't know. Maybe you are stuck on a cycle where you are, you know, addicted, are obsessed with one thing and it's really detrimental to you. Venus retrogrades going to get you to reevaluate that and reassess that.

Um, and really think about what's going to help you and what's not going to help you. Maybe even like you have a partnership or a hookup, like an old hook up, like someone used to hook up with and they're really hot and you're just really deeply attracted to them and they're not good for you, but you want to be with them or you maybe you want to hook up with them again. Um, try to resist this urge cause you're going to feel it when Venus is retrograde thing through your eighth house. Like this. I'm moving onto your ninth house. Like I said before. Um, if you're like me and you have Venus which are getting your ninth house right now, you might be looking back at your past projects. You might be dabbling in some learning to work on projects to make money. Um, you might be planning a trip, you might have, you know, maybe you're spending a lot of money on vacations or you want to, anyway, um, so maybe you might, you might take a really big fun trip that my, uh, put you in a lot of debt or something. Um, or maybe you're just reevaluating those things. Maybe you did that before and you're thinking, you know how maybe you should stop doing that. Maybe you're reevaluating your religion or your spiritual beliefs right now. Um, who, yeah.

All right. We're almost there. Almost done. So, um, moving on to the 10th house. That's Capricorn stuff. So that's going to be your public persona, your work, your career. Um, your Internet persona persona is Alyssa sharp. Likes to call it this is, um, yeah, with Venus retro getting there, you're going to be reevaluating how you come off to the public. So back, going back to your first house when I talked about, you know, how you just kind of come off to others, like in person, you're going to be reevaluating your public persona. You might eat, you know, if you're someone who's in the public law or you know, maybe even just a few of Facebook, even you, you don't have to be famous really, but you know, maybe you post an inappropriate Facebook status and you know, that gets you to rethink, you know, maybe I shouldn't have done that.

Maybe I should think before he posts stuff. Um, or maybe you're like someone who likes to get drunk and go on social media and you just post really inappropriate things all the time. Uh, you know, this is going to be something that's going to be popping up for you, um, during this Venus retrograde. Um, it can also be like, you know, your career, maybe you're reevaluating your career and how you make money. Um, maybe you want to buy more things are going to help you with your business or make you look better to the public.

Okay.

Um, what else? What else? What else?

Mm hmm. MMM.

Maybe you're having issues with you know, your life purpose or,

or maybe you're going to have like, you know, your daddy issues recurring or your, you know, issues with authority figures or father figures. Um, these are all things that are going to be reconsidered during this Venus retrograde for you. If you have that moving on to the 11th house, the 11th house is going to be all about your community and your friends and your network and people you surround yourself with. Um, so this Venus retrograde for you is going to be all about revisiting, um, any issues you might have with your friends or your network or, um, maybe you'll have some like issues with technology maybe or your community. Um, it's going to be about like bigger things than just you. So it's not going to be like, I don't know how to explain it. It probably won't be you problems. It might be like the world's problems that are really getting to you and there things that you're going to revisit during this retrograde.

Um, so yeah, those are all going to be things that are going to be coming up. And lastly, the 12th house, the dreaded 12th House that a lot of people are afraid of. Um, this is another house is all about like endings. It's the Pisces House. So it's very spiritual and dreamy and mysterious and um, it is all about like delusions and fears and isolation. Um, which is why it kind of scares people. Um, and spirituality and yeah. So with this placement, you're really going to be digging into your subconscious and your dreams and really, really trying to get into your psyche and figure out what it is that you need and what you don't need. And maybe you're going to be, you know, maybe you'll start going to therapy during this when we were going to pay money to see a therapist and maybe it'll be helpful.

Maybe it won't be helpful. Maybe you'll be revisiting old relationship traumas or things that have happened to you. Um, you know, the 12th House, the way I see it as all about really getting into that nitty gritty stuff and really figuring out, you know, what's helping you and what's hurting you from a subconscious level. Um, so that's going to be something that comes up a lot for you during this Venus retrograde and yeah, that's it. That is all your houses for the Venus retrograde. I think I just about hit my time mark with the head. Um, it's funny, I started off like really nervous to do this podcast and I was like, yeah, like I guess I'll just type up like a script and just sort of loosely scripted. So the first episode I did, like I did a script, but obviously I didn't, I didn't follow it completely.

I just kind of wrote it down because I would start talking and then I'd forget stuff. And here I am now just, you know, doing a full, almost 40 minute podcast just with no script. I'm really proud of myself right now. You guys. Um, yeah. So anyways, um, yeah, I should probably go to bed. It's almost midnight. Um, I am a creature of the night at this point, I guess. Um, but I'm also exhausted and I'm really glad I got to take the time to talk to you guys about Venus retrograde and go over all of that with you. Hopefully you got something good out of it. So I have to recover my iTunes account, which I guess takes like 15 days or ridiculous. So I'm waiting on that.

So I haven't fully decided what I want to talk about today. I have a few things I want to discuss. Um, mainly I guess what I want to talk about today is like astrology culture, if that makes sense. I'm sorry if I sound quieter than usual. Uh, it's like 11 in the morning and I'm still pretty tired. Uh, I've been sitting here working on a blog post and drinking some cold coffee out of my Virgo mug and hanging out with my cat Sigurd the stone count. Uh, I don't know why we call him the stone count. It's just kind of a nickname. Um, anyway, yeah. So I guess today is going to be more of just like a me talking about random stuff episode.

Uh, I mean, I will throw in some stuff so people can actually like, you know, learn. But I think I'm just going to chat for a little bit about, you know, some stuff I've been seeing about astrology in the news and, uh, you know, just like the general culture around astrology. Um, so yeah, let's get into it. Um, so I was, I'm working on some other astrology related projects that I don't want to go into too much detail about, um, just yet, but for right now, um, yeah, I look for right now. Yeah. I just had to do some, I had to do some research. Uh, so I came across this article from the Atlantic that was titled The new age of Astrology and the stressful data driven era. Many young people find comfort and insight in the Zodiac even if they don't exactly believe in it.

Um, that's the name of the article. The, when I found it on Google, it said like, why are millennials so obsessed with Miss Oh, with astrology? So I figured I would kind of talk about that today because honestly, this article made me laugh a little bit. Um, I'm sure like maybe there is some truth to some of these, but, um, basically the key things I got from this article is like, you know, oh, millennials are just so stressed out and uncertain about the future that, you know, astrology just kind of makes them feel better. They talk about, and millennials like we use it as a coping mechanism, which, you know, I guess in a way maybe we do, uh, you know, it is, astrology does give a lot of people comfort, uh, whether you're, whether you're a millennial or a non millennial, you know, then there's another quote saying like, Oh, we take a strategy very seriously, but we also don't necessarily believe in believe in it.

It's just the way we look at the world. Um, so basically it's just, I dunno, this whole article just made me laugh because it's like, oh yeah, like, you know, millennials just love astrology because we're so stressed out. Which again, like, yes, there is some truth to that. Um, what's funny is I feel like I can kind of debunk this article just using astrology. So my first thoughts when I read this, as, you know, a lot of millennials, uh, you know, they either have Pluto and Scorpio or Pluto and Sagittarius. So I mean maybe there's another generational planet that might influence us. Maybe someone has a different opinion out there, which is fine. Um, but I just thought it was funny. So Pluto is basically a planet that's all about uncovering secrets, debunking the taboo. It's, you know, finding truth. Uh, alternatively, like in your chart, Pluto's a lot about, um, getting rid of things that don't serve you anymore.

Getting rid of obsessions, addictions. Um, because Pluto is all about obsession and addiction. It's a very intense planet. Um, so a lot of times when we are dealing with Pluto and astrology, we're working to get rid of things we don't really necessarily need or things that don't serve us. A lot of the times, you know, it's just, you know, weeding out all the bullshit to get to the truth or the core of a situation. Um, and that's what I think, you know, Pluto is really about, well that and transformation. Uh, Pluto, you know, it's ruled by like, you know, what are the, Gosh, I'm blanking out on it. Uh, one of the things that you know, Pluto is associated with is, um, the, the Phoenix, which, you know, if you know anything about like mythology and stuff and you know, the Phoenix and it burns and rises from the ashes.

And, um, that's a huge thing that Pluto is all about is transformation. So, you know, it's, it's a lot about, you know, weeding out the stuff we don't need and transformation. Um, because you know, you can't really transform if you're not weeding out the stuff that doesn't serve you anymore. So anyways, getting back to what I was saying, a lot of people, you know, that our millennials, you know, they either had Pluto and Scorpio and Pluto in Sagittarius. So when you have Pluto and Scorpio, that's, you know, Scorpios in its home there because Scorpio's ruled by Pluto. Scorpio is already a very like no bullshit sign and no nonsense. And you know, again, it's all about seeking truth and, you know, getting rid of the taboo, like a lot of like for example, like a lot of Scorpios you meet are very skeptical because, you know, they don't believe everything they hear usually.

Um, they always want to, you get to the bottom of things and uncover the truth. And I think a lot of people with Pluto and Scorpio, um, I feel like there is this general appeal, um, where they might be interested in a cultism of some sort because they want to know the truth. And I think, I mean, I think that's true for anyone who has interest in, you know, astrology or Tarot cards or, you know, the occult is, you know, searching for truth because, you know, I think everyone has this desire to get a better, deeper understanding of, you know, this thing called life. Um, and we look to it for guidance when things don't really make sense. Um, so I really just think that people would put out a Scorpio, you know, one reason they might be interested in astrology is because, you know, they want to get to the bottom of things.

They want to know why things are the way they are. Um, and I think that's a lot of the appeal, um, as to why, uh, you know, some millennials are interested in that. Um, well, you know, I thought talking about astrology, would be so easy until I actually started talking about it and now I'm like running out of breath and all this other stuff. Um, anyway. Um, yeah, so I think that's another reason, you know, that's just one of the reasons why millennials do tend to seek out astrology more so than maybe other generations. And so, and even some, you know, people in Gen x might even have Pluto and Scorpio to, I think, um, I should probably look that up, but, uh, I'm not going to right now. But anyways, um, so yeah, that's all, you know, Pluto and Scorpio is a lot of people.

Um, you know, most millennials, I don't think Pluto went into Sagittarius until the later end of, until the later end of, uh, you know, when like the cutoff is for millennials. It might even be some knowledge and Gen z people even that are also have this. But, um, so like I'm, I'm one of those people, I was born in 96, so I have Pluto in Sagittarius. Um, and I think when you get, so, you know, like I said before, Pluto is a very, you know, weeding out the bullshit to find the truth kind of assigned and you know, getting to the core and the bottom of things. Uh, when you have Sagittarius in that planet, Sagittarius is like the guru or the philosopher or the teacher of the Zodiac. Um, so having Sagittarius there, you know, Sagittarius is also a very, um, truth seeking sign.

Uh, you know, like a lot of people who are Sagittarius, who are, sorry, a lot of people who are a Sagittarius might be very brutally honest. And so I think people with Pluto and Sagittarius, you know, we really want honesty and you know, that combined with Sagittarius being a very philosophical sign, um, I think we're much more inclined towards astrology because of that. Because you have the combination of those two things coming together. Um, it's interesting because where I feel like Pluto in Scorpio seeks truth, Sagittarius also seeks truth, but I think deeper than that a Sagittarius also seeks meaning. Um, so I think, you know, on top of like, you know, things being so crazy and chaotic and millennials being stressed out and uncertain about their future, I think we also think a lot about, you know, what is the deeper meaning of life and what is going to give us more purpose and value and what things are going to be more fulfilling.

And I think because of that, that's why we turned to things like astrology and why we're so interested in astrology because it gives us a deeper, um, in our sense of meaning and fulfillment out of life, especially when things look so bleak. Um, you know, it's good. It's, I dunno, it's reassuring to have each to know certain things. Um, and I don't know, I think that's largely why millennials are so into astrology. Another thing I wanted to discuss on top of that is because millennials are so into astrology, and they kind of touched on this in the article as well, is that, you know, oh, millennials, they love their memes, which I get it. I love, I love memes as an ex, you know, as much as the next millennium, you know, like, uh, I totally get it. Um, and beams are great. Memes are, you know, they're funny.

They're a great way to share an idea or to share information even though like, you know, memes are, they're supposed to be like a joke. Yeah. So I think the main thing is just, um, oh, right. So like add sometimes. Uh, so yeah, I think the other thing that kind of, maybe this is just me, I don't know if any other astrologers at their feet like this. Um, but memes are great. Uh, what Kinda gets me though is I feel like as far as astrology memes go, I think they can be very misleading, um, and untrue to like astrology. Uh, I used, I get it too. I used to really love astrology means there are some good ones out there that are actually funny, um, for people who actually understand astrology. But there's a lot of, um, there's a lot of Zodiac memes out there that are just very, I feel like they just add weight to the idea that astrology is vague and because of that, astrology is fake.

Like I saw one earlier that was like never tell an Aries, um, you can't do that because they'll just reply, watch me. And like, you know, people will just slap on very vague and general statements, you know, to these memes and then people see them and they're like, oh, wow, that's so me. I love to prove people wrong. And they just take on this idea. And I feel like that's not what astrology is at all. And I don't think it's very true to the, uh, what's the word? Um, it's not very true to the integrity of astrology. Um, and I think it, it just gives people more reason to say that, oh, that's so vague and astrology's too fake. Um, because people like to make these means with these vague statements out there and you know, if someone doesn't know about astrology, it's very easy for them to be like, oh, that's so me.

Or she'd be like, no, that's not me. Um, and I don't know, it kind of, it kind of makes me mad. I've also seen like a lot of like astrology memes on Facebook that are extremely like untrue or fake. And again, I don't mean to be like that person to get all, I don't want to be the person who's like, oh, I just hate all these posers astrologers out here. Because astrology does have that element of fun where it is open to interpretation while also having kind of like, not strict, but kind of strict guidelines. Like there are still rules and structured who astrology. The Fun thing about it is, you know, you can interpret it, interpret a lot of it however you want. Um, which, you know, it may not always be right or true to the situation that you're dealing with, but I do think that is largely part of the fun of astrology.

And I think when people, you know, make these vague, generalized statements, it's taking away a lot of that, um, which, you know, I'm not going to tell people what they can and can't do, do whatever you want, but from an astrological standpoint or a, you know, an astrologer standpoint, um, and I know it's just one of the few things that kind of irks me and I, I felt like I should talk about it. Um, you know, maybe I'm not alone. Maybe I'm alone in this. Maybe a lot of people don't resonate with that. Um, you know, if you do or you don't shoot me an email, I'd love to, I'd love to chat about it for sure. Um, but yeah, that's just kind of something that's been on my mind lately. So I figured I had to kind of let it all out here.

Also I just want to kind of backtrack a little bit before I move on to the next segment on the show. Uh, going back to what I was saying about Pluto being about transformation, um, and why millennials are so obsessed with, with astrology. Um, so yeah, Pluto is about transformation and I think having Pluto and Sagittarius are even Scorpio, that's going to be all about changing the way people think and perceive things. So when we had, you know, Pluto and Scorpio people were all about, you know, changing the taboo, changing how we view things that are taboo. And having Pluto in Sagittarius is also about changing things in are taboo. Um, but it's changing the way we look at certain things like astrology and you know, mysticism and things of that nature, which is one of the great things about Pluto is, you know, it's it and just all the generational planets because those things are changing the way we look and think about things.

And I think it's a very important part of astrology to know and understand. It's also interesting too to see the differences in the, you know, two different Pluto generations. Um, you know, people who are born with Pluto and Scorpio, uh, during the time they born, when Pluto is in Scorpio, they were dealing with a lot of things like, you know, it was sexually transmitted diseases and um, you know, how to combat combat stuff like that. Um, on top of that, people with Pluto in Scorpio, I think they were the generation that kind of started to normalize this idea of people sleeping around and not getting too caught up in not getting too caught up in very close intimate relationships because of the fear of getting hurt. Uh, that was a very large theme sort of surrounding that. And we started to see it on TV and stuff.

Um, and then you have, you know, the Pluto in Sagittarius generation where, you know, we kind of grew up with the rise of like things like al Qaeda and we saw, you know, religious dogma. And because of that, people with Pluto in Sagittarius 10 to be, I think we're, you know, a lot less dogmatic and more open to different ideas and concepts, which is another reason why so many of us are probably interested in things like astrology. Um, you know, this, this generation really likes to study and learn and understand new ideas and philosophies and concepts and words. We're taking all of that in, um, and really embracing it. And also, oh, another thing I wrote about this week, this is not really a astrology related, but I can make it astrology related. Um, someone posted a thing. So you know how like there's all those, uh, there's a lot of articles and stuff out right now that are like, yeah, you know, things millennials are killing and you know, like, you know, they say like millennials aren't buying houses because we're buying too much avocados and crazy stuff like that.

Um, fun fact. I have a house that I bought and I still the Avocados, um, animal and I'm a millennial, a. Anyways, I'm getting off track. So yeah. Um, so some good news, there are some things out there that millennials aren't killing a one of those things that millennials aren't killing his divorce rates. Um, apparently more millennials are interested in getting married and staying together, which is great. And I think a lot of that is because of going back to what I was saying about the Pluto in Scorpio generation. Um, I think because a lot of people were, you know, afraid of re relationships and getting hurt. Um, mainly because, you know, a lot of people born in that generation, saw their parents get divorced and saw the impact of that and how hurtful it was. And so, thankfully, because of that, more millennials are, you know, wanting to get married and have these partnerships and stay with people for longer periods of time. And, um, yeah, I don't know. I was really happy to see that because it's like finally a win for, for millennials. Um, but I mean, honestly, I think all generations are going to talk shit about each other and pick on each other. Um, regardless of anything. But you know, it, it's nice to see a win for millennials.

so yeah, that was my rant about Pluto and the astrology community culture, things that, uh, kind of kind of irk me. Um, so yeah, that was my rant. Um, I'm going to pick up this next segment by kind of continuing off where I left off. Um, in my last episode where I discussed, uh, the sunshine. I'm in the second segment. I'm going to jump to the next plan after that and talk about, uh, your moon sign and what that is. Your moon sign is basically how you handle your emotions. Um, it's kind of like where your sun sign is your conscious side of you, your moon sign is kind of like your subconscious side in a way. It's kind of that thing that's just boiling beneath the surface. It's kind of the things that you, the part of you that you don't let out easily.

Um, it's also where you find your emotional fulfillment in wellness and what things make you happy or, um, I kind of think of it this way. The, so the son, not the son. Uh, the moon has a lot to do with the mother and maternal instincts. Um, so your moon sign is a very nurturing thing. It's kind of your security blanket. It's what you think you need when you're upset or happy or trying to find out what's going to make you happy. Um, it is, you know, it's your feelings. It's how you handle your emotions. It's how you viewed your mother. Um, growing up, uh, Alyssa Sharpe on youtube actually has a really great video discussing, you know, your moon sign and your mother. I really enjoyed it. So, uh, yeah, look her up. She's great. Um, so yeah, your moon sign is just, it's, it's how your feelings are expressed.

Um, for example, my moon sign is in Capricorn, it's a common thing where they say that people with moon and Capricorn, uh, have very, very boring, dry, monotonous voices that are really hard to listen to, which I was actually a little bit nervous about doing this podcast because of that, because I get worried that, oh, like maybe I have that, that boring Capricorn moon voice. Um, which hopefully, hopefully I don't. Um, but yeah, so for example, like I'm a Capricorn moon and, you know, I, I'm a very sensitive emotional person. I don't always show it. Um, because, you know, Capricorn is a very, it's an earth science with Capricorns, not, not very emotional, like they kind of hold strong and keep calm under pressure and, um, you know, stay focused on their goals. Um, so like I have like a lot of emotions, but I kinda, I kinda bury them a little bit with my moon and Capricorn.

I'm on top of that. You know, I have my moon in Capricorn and Capricorns all about hard work and setting new goals and reaching those goals. So, you know, it's funny because I always say, you know, I'm not happy unless I have some project or something to work on. I love to see progress and when I'm not seeing progress, what I'm, when I feel as though I'm making an effort towards something, I get very frustrated. Um, and so that's kind of, you know, work is kind of where I find my emotional fulfillment. Um, and, you know, as far as Leo, how I perceive my mother. Um, it was funny after I first watched that video about Alyssa sharp saying, uh, you know, that your moon sign is how you perceive your mother. Because I thought about that after and I was like, ah, I don't see it.

My mom's so not like a Capricorn. I'm, my mom's a cancer by the way, for anyone who's wondering. And I thought about it later and I, I thought about how a Capricorn is all about hard work. And growing up, my mom was always on me to get a job from the time I was like 10 or 11. Um, you know, she was always telling me like, I need to work harder and try harder and do better. She was constantly pushing me to work more. Um, which I think because of that it kind of attribute, it goes along with like my, a Capricorn moon traits of, you know, being kind of a workaholic and being very engrossed in my work because I'm always trying to work harder and you know, do better. And I, you know, I never feel like I'm doing enough, even when I'm doing everything I possibly can.

I still don't feel like I'm doing enough and I need to work harder or try harder, do more. Um, another example, so my fiance Blake, he, he has his moon in Taurus. Um, people with mood and tourists, you know, they really love soft things and food, especially good food in like really flavorful food. Um, you know, they find a lot of comfort in listening to music and, you know, they just, there are people that really like to be just comfortable. Um, they don't really like to be uncomfortable. Um, they do like, you know, putting in work, but I will say, I don't think they always like doing physical labor. Um, and they're really good with their money. I've noticed even though they do like to s, you know, maybe splurge here and there and things that they like, um, people with, you know, Moon in Taurus or actually people with a moon in any earth sign, um, really like to just have a lot of financial security, um, because without it they get really uncomfortable.

Um, so yeah, and you know, um, you know, it's funny too, I, I wasn't, I always say like, I'm not going to go through all the signs, but I'm kind of thinking maybe I should go through all the signs and do, you know, explain them just the elements so you can get like a general overview without me talking for hours and hours about all the signs. Um, so yeah, I kinda just went over the earth signs. So if you have a mood and an earth sign, which is Capricorn Taurus or, um, Virgo. Wow, that's my sun sign and I forgot that one. Um, so yeah, if you have an earth sign moon, like you really like financial security, you really like to be comfortable. You, you're a hard worker because really all I will say all three of their assigned to very driven and hardworking in their own way.

Um, so yeah, so if you're in our sign, like you just really like stability and security and those are the things that make you happy and give you the emotional fulfillment that you want and need. Um, moving on from that, I'll talk about people who have their moon in a water sign. Um, so the water signs or Scorpio, Pisces and cancer. If your moon sign is in either of those signs that you have, your, you're a water moon person. Um, I will say that the water, the water signs tend to be a lot more temperamental. Um, because water is very sensitive. Um, if you're a water sign, you're very sensitive. You tend to take on the emotions of people around you. You can be really empathetic. Um, because you're so emotional. This can be detrimental sometimes because sometimes it can be unhealthy the way you handle and express your feelings.

Um, you can, you know, you might even feel psychic in a sense because, because of the fact that the water sensors so sensitive, you're very in touch with your intuition. And so you kind of pick up on, you know, when things aren't right or when things aren't going right and you know, when someone's sad or upset. Um, because of this, you can also be, you know, a very nurturing person, um, because of the fact that, you know, you know, when someone's website, you know how to take care of someone when they're feeling down. Um, personal example of someone with a water moons side, my sister is a Scorpio moon and I've, you know, I've met a lot of other people of Scorpio moons as well, and they are so intense with their emotions. Um, you know, they, they can be really sweet and I've noticed they tend to either really love stuff and they're all giddy about it or they hate something and they just, that's it.

It's very black and white. They hate it. Um, and you know, it's funny, my sister is probably one of the most, like, she's very feisty. Um, she, she won't walk away from a fight. Um, she's definitely not someone you would, you want to fight with. Um, she's kind of bad ass, but yeah, it's, people with Scorpio Moon is like you, you don't want to pick a fight with them. They will. And your existence basically. Um, they're the kind of people that will like tear you to shreds if you mess with them. Um, you know, like they, they, they don't like to back down basically. Um, which is sometimes a good thing. Sometimes it's not so good. Um, the next one I want to talk about it as the fire signs. When you have your moon sign in a fire sign, which the fire science, our Aries, Leo and Sagittarius, um, people with a fire, they're going to be more ego driven.

The things that are going to make them happy or things are going to be fulfilling to them or things that will make them feel good is going to be related to um, how they present themselves and what people think about themselves. Um, they're also probably a little bit more social and they liked to go out and have fun because you know, having friends and stuff tends to reinforce someone's ego. Those are the kind of things that they're going to gravitate towards that where it could be their work or their status. I'm having a good high status, um, are the things that are going to, you know, make them look and feel good. Um, and they probably really like compliments. Um, so yeah, and I'd say that's pretty much the, the fire moods. They're also very blunt and direct with people and they're not afraid to kind of like go there, um, if they feel it's necessary.

Um, the next element I'm going to talk about in the last one is the air signs. Um, so if you have your moon and an air sign, the air signs are Libra, Aquarius and Gemini. Um, these moons are very, they're very quick. Witted they're very intellectual. They like to learn. Um, they're very good with words and communication. Um, I think they tend to, they're like logical to the Earth Center, very logical. And I think the way they handle and process their emotions is through logic. So it almost seems as if they don't have emotions, which, um, they do have emotions, they just kind of handle them differently. They might really like to talk about their emotions with people that they're comfortable with, or maybe they just don't, I think they tend to like over rationalize or over analyze their, their feelings to the point where they're just, you know, they're like, okay, well that's not, it's not logical for me to feel this way, so I'm going to pretend like it's not happening.

Um, you know, or they just kind of bury them. Um, it's funny. Heirs, people with air moons are still kind of a mystery to me. I haven't known enough of them to really fully understand them. Um, but that's, that's kind of what have I imagine. They're like, um, which if, you know, like I said earlier, if you disagree or you have better input, like shoot me an email. I'm always looking for people to talk about astrology with, um, hence why I'm doing this podcast by myself, by the way. Um, because I don't have enough friends at like one, a podcast and also like, you know, talk about astrology. But anyways, um, so yeah, those are your elements of all the moons and all those things are gonna vary. You know, depending on the sign, because while they are all connected through similar elements, you know, every site has their own individual traits in placements.

Um, I guess this week's blog post is going to be all about, you know, how, what, what, what traits are associated with the signs, you know, when they're, when they're, you know, in your moon. I don't know why that was so hard for me to say. Um, so like last week I posted about the traits of the Sun Times. So basically this week I'm going to post where all the traits of the Zodiac Signs Express through the moon and the moon's signs. Um, so yeah, I'll, I'll link that in the show notes, keep an eye out for it. Um, and yeah, that's, that's your moon sign and yeah, I think, I think that covers just about everything I wanted to talk about in this episode. This is the space witch podcast episode one. As previously stated, I'm your host Whitney Levesque. Welcome to my podcast. This is my, my new domain where I can kind of geek out and talk to you guys about astrology for however long. Um, I don't really know how long this podcast is going to be just yet, but I'm excited to find out. Um, it's Kinda like a challenge. It's like how long can I talk about astrology before I just have nothing else to say or run out of breath, which, um, I'm already getting there. Um, so yeah, I'm really excited to do this. I'm also so happy that it's almost Libra season. Um, today's the first day of fall, but I believe tomorrow is the first official day of Libra season. So to all you, Libra's out there. Happy Birthday. Um, a lot of close friends and family of mine are libras and I love them so much.

 

Fun fact, my fiance Blake and my best friend actually both have the same birthday. Um, they're born different years, but they were both born on September 26th so shout out to them. Um, and happy birthday. So yeah, welcome to my podcast. Um, this is kind of your one stop for all things astrology. For anyone who wants to learn about astrology or doesn't understand astrology or wants to know more about it. Um, I'm a huge astrology nerd or geek. I've been really into astrology since I was 15 or 16 years old. I might've even been younger than that. I'm 22 right now. My whole interest in astrology started when I was like in high school and I was obsessed with this Scorpio boy who was very mysterious and complex and difficult for me to understand. And um, you know, like most Scorpios or just, you know, teenage boys in general when you're a 16 year old girl who doesn't understand things.

 

So, yeah, I wanted to understand him better and I wouldn't, I, uh, so yeah, I wanted to understand him better and I found myself, you know, googling things like Virgo and Scorpio compatibility and you know, things like that and you know, reading stupid trash sites like, uh, uh, Yahoo answers and stuff and reading all the generic descriptions of Virgo and Scorpio and why they work and why they don't work. And so eventually I was on a little site called Tumblr where I stumbled across an astrology blog. I not 100% sure, but I think it was this girl, her username was like lady Neptune and as a Pisces and she was super cool and I misreading her blog posts on tumbler. I think that's where I first found out. Like you have a whole natal chart and a whole other part of your, um, you know, your personality and your tarp beside like, you know, just your, what's called your sun sign, which I'm going to talk about a little bit later on the show and the first segment.

 

But yeah, so I found out I had all these other things in my car and, um, I started, you know, Google searching things. And in the end it's funny 'cause I set out to try and understand my crush better. And, uh, you know, through the process I ended up understanding myself a whole lot better. And so, yeah, basically ever since I found out there was all these, you know, layers and other things to know about astrology. I haven't been able to shut up about it ever since. So most of my friends who know me, you know, they know that like I spent, you know, countless hours just talking their ear off about astrology and their natal charts and telling them, you know, why they do this and why they don't do this and you know, what's going on with their relationships. And, you know, I even have friends, you know, messaged me when things are going wrong in their life and they were like, Whitney, like, what's going on with the stars right now?

 

Like, everything's basically falling to shit, like what's happening. Um, and you know, we'll, we'll talk about it. And, um, I just, I really enjoy it and a lot of people, you know, I think a lot of people ultimately see, you know, validation and that's a big thing that people get from astrology and it's just, it's a good way to grow. Like I'm all about learning and grow like self exploration and understanding. And I think astrology is a really great way to kind of dive into that, which is why I'm like just super into it. So, yeah, and I guess another one of my low key, high key, uh, ulterior motives is, um, you know, I spent a lot of time talking to people about astrology, but I think my other goal with this podcast is to make it so that maybe someday I can actually talk to people about astrology and I don't have to backtrack all the way from this one little thing that I'm talking about and explained to them, you know, what exactly like all of this means.

 

Because a lot of times I'll start talking to people and be like, Oh yeah, well you have Venus in Leo. And so you really like a partner who's really showy and, um, you know, and I'll start getting into all these details and people are like, what, what did you just say? And so me being the teacher that I am, I tend to go back and I give people like a mini astrology lesson to try and explain what it is that I'm actually saying. So that's kind of what, honestly, I mean, that's what inspired me to do this podcast because, you know, I spent all this time talking to people about astrology and telling them about astrology. So I figured, you know, I'm just going to do a podcast and they can just play it over and over again and I won't have to explain things nearly as much, hopefully.

 

Although I'm happy to, um, I'd probably just keep telling people the same stuff they want to know. So, yeah. So yeah, today on this podcast episode, I'll be explaining the sun signs, the natal chart and the astrological forecast for October. Um, so those are some things you can find right here. So in this podcast I will be explaining some fundamentals of astrology, but just a heads up, I'm not going to explain all the traits of all 12 Zodiac signs. Um, at least not in this particular podcast episode. I will make a blog post on my website, eventually explaining all 12 Zodiac signs and their basic traits so that like anyone who's listening can reference it later if they want to know. We're just, you know, kind of see like a quick view thing because it is really important to know all 12 Zodiac signs and know them in order and know them, you know, they're with her modes are, their element is no, all their, um, other traits, all their basic traits.

 

Uh, the reason I don't want to talk about them in this podcast is because I personally feel that it's very, uh, overdone and I've seen it a lot of places. And as an astrologer or someone who considers himself an astrologer, I don't actually know how you get the official title to be an astrologer, but I consider myself an astrologer. Um, I don't have a fancy piece of paper saying I'm an astrologer. I didn't go to school, but I do consider myself to be an astrologer because I do like to study this stuff. Anyways, I'm getting sidetracked. So back to what I was saying, as someone who considers themselves an astrologer, I am really bored with talking about the basic traits of the Zodiac signs and I'm really bored with reading and hearing other things about the basics. Zodiac signs, you can pretty much find that information anywhere.

 

It's not hard to find it. So my whole goal with this podcast is to get people past the point of just knowing their Zodiac sign. I want to take a step beyond that and actually talk about some more in depth things, um, that are still easy to understand for people who don't fully know about astrology. So yeah, that's my goal. I'll probably do another podcast, um, eventually touching on that stuff. Uh, but for right now I'm going to skip over that. Oh also not dimension. Like I have a feeling that even if I did do, you know, do a whole podcast where I explained all 12 Zodiac signs, people probably just skip to their sign anyways and not even listened to the other ones. So for right now I'm just, I'm not even going to bother. Another thing I wanted to touch on real quick is compatibility.

 

Um, I will discuss love and compatibility the bet that I will discuss love and compatibility in another podcast. But I'm not going to go through every Zodiac pairing and tell you if these two signs work or don't work and please do not flood my emails with compatibility questions. Thank you in advance. That's another whole other subject that gets, it's not super complicated, but the little complicated. And I will make a special podcast just to talk about that topic if you're someone who's here because you want to know more about love and relationships and compatibility. But I do encourage you to listen to this podcast and maybe learn some things about yourself first. Um, because you know, there's that whole saying you can't love someone else if you don't love yourself first. So right now we're just going to focus on you and finding out who you are and what you like and what you don't like and all that stuff.

All right, now that all that's out of the way, let's dive straight into our first segment.

 

All right, I just need to breathe first and maybe have another sip of rosé real quick. Okay. So, um, for the first segment, I've decided to touch on the topic of Sun Signs. Now, most people already tend to know about their sun signs. The only thing is a lot of people don't realize that there's sun sign is called a sun sign. To put it simply for anyone who's already, you know, kind of confused about this. Um, so generally like when people ask you like, Hey, what's your Zodiac sign? Or like, what's your sign? Uh, you know, people might say, Oh, I'm a Leo, or a Virgo or a Libra or Scorpio or whatever. And so that like simple reply where, and she's like, Oh yeah, I'm a, I'm a, you know, I'm a Sagittarius. That's your sun sign right there. Um, it's called your sun sign because that's what sign the sun was the day.

 

That's what time the sun was in the day you were born. Um, it's really easy to know your sometime because the sun changes every like month and a half or so, possibly a little more or less than that. So all you really need to know to know what your sun sign is is just your birthday. So like I was saying earlier, it's, it's libra season. So like if your birthday was between, I think it was like the 22nd of October to, or no, sorry, the 22nd of 23rd. Wow. I was way off the 23rd of September until October six. Oh no, sorry. October 23rd. So yeah, September 23rd to October 23rd is um, Libra season. So like if you were born between that, those dates, your sun sign is in Libra. So yeah, it's really easy to know what your sun sign is. So I think that's why he's strategy gets a really bad rep as being too generic or too fake because most people only know about their son signs when in reality you actually have all these other planets influencing you as well.

 

Um, that's something I'm going to touch on possibly a little bit later in this podcast. I'm definitely, I'll talk about it in another podcast episode, but that's like, that's a simple explanation of what a sun sign is. I'm a slightly more complex explanation of what a sun sign is, is, um, think of it this way. So the sun is what all the planets revolve around, right? The Sun keeps the planet earth that we live on warm it gives us life. That's kind of what your sun sign does as well. Um, in your psyche or your personality. Just like how the sun is. The core thing that all the planets revolve around your sun sign is the core of who you are as a person. Uh, your sun sign is what gives you your personality, like your main personality. It gives you life and vitality. It's basically you at your youest to put it simply or plainly.

 

Um, it's what makes you thrive or makes you feel the most comfortable in your skin. It's your ego. A lot of people say it's kind of who you think you're supposed to be. I'm coming into this world and kind of going back to kind of what I was mentioning before, there's a lot of people who don't identify with their sun sign and maybe some people even overly identify with their sun sign. Um, there's a few explanations to that. The main one is that you might have other influences in your natal chart that might make it so you relate more to another sign or, um, planet. Then your actual sun sign. You might also have other aspects in your chart that could be influencing that as well. Um, for example, I have Pluto squaring my son, my sun sign in my natal chart, which basically means that, um, the Pluto in Sagittarius and my natal chart is basically trying to dominate or overpower my sun sign in Virgo.

 

Um, so when two planets square each other, it's kind of like one's trying to take over the other one. Um, so since Pluto squaring my son, it's almost like there's two planets fighting for dominance in a sense. Um, so to simplify that even even further, um, because Pluto, Pluto in Sagittarius is trying to overpower my sun sign in Virgo. That just kind of means that I sometimes show these Sagittarius or Scorpio traits because Pluto is the planet that rules Scorpio. So sometimes it can almost overpower my Virgo sun sign traits. Um, especially, you know, since Pluto in Scorpio, like those are very intense signs. Um, so especially having them square with my son, it can be very, uh, over powering. So that's my example for that. Um, another explanation for people who don't identify with their Sun signs, um, you might also have a dominant sign or a planet that you identify more strongly with, um, or it can be based on like the maturity of your sun sign.

 

Um, the maturity of your Sun's sign or any planet in your chart can be based on a couple things. So the first leg technical explanation, um, would be that you, so each planet in your chart has a different degree. Um, and you can find that out by looking up your natal chart. So they say that in astrology when you have, they say that in astrology, when you have a planet that's an earlier degree. So, for example, my sun sign is in Virgo, you know, it's two degrees in Virgo. Um, it means it's a very immature sign, um, which I've even read somewhere that they say that when you have an immature sign or an early degree, you know, placement of a planet in your chart, it's almost like you come out of the womb and you're just like, you're like, I am not ready to be a Virgo.

 

Um, you know, going back to my example, my sun sign in Virgo being in two degrees Virgo, which I thought about that and I really related to it. So like, it's, it's exactly like that. So my, I have my sun in two degrees Virgo, and it's exactly like that. It's like, you know, I came into this world as a Virgo and I was not prepared for it at all. Um, like for example, one of my biggest, biggest downfalls as a Virgo is, um, so Virgos we have a tendency, and this is why a lot of people don't like Virgos. We have this tendency to give criticisms to other people because like, we want to be helpful. Um, but when people try to give us criticisms, like try to, sorry, let me, when people tried to criticize us, um, even if it's like we're asking for it, we want advice.

 

If you're like me and you're an immature Virgo, um, it really cuts you to the core. Um, and you know, we're an earth sign. So we, I think most of us try to hide it for the most part, unless you're like close to us. But I'm a, it really hurts to have anyone tell you you're doing something wrong. Because, you know, Fargo's a perfectionist. We think we're doing everything right and no one can tell us otherwise. Um, and to be honest, my Aquarius rising doesn't help with this either because Aquarius risings, you know, we're very stubborn, so it's like, I, it's almost like having an early degree in my sun sign. It's like I was not ready to be born into this world and have everyone telling me like, oh, your hair's too curly, or your, you know, your outfit looks stupid and not that, those are the criticisms that I get that I, you know, cut me to the core.

 

Although they probably would, but you know, we're just, we're not ready for people to nit pick at us, or at least I wasn't, I guess I can't speak for all Virgos but me in particular, I was not ready. So yeah, so they say that when you have an early in earlier sun sign degree and um, it's more mature and if it's the later in like a later degrees. So I think, I forget how the degrees are split up, but if it's an a later degree, like 16 or I think 20 or 30 or something like that, um, then it's like a more mature placement. So if your son signs and a later degree, you're one of the lucky ones who was born just being perfect and mature and you can pretty much handle everything people throw at you. So like a more mature Virgo Sun, um, would come into this world and people would criticize them and they would be able to take it.

 

They'd be like, oh, wow, thank you so much for that helpful advice. I'm actually going to take that and use it and you know, just do my thing and be flawless like Beyonce or something. Cause Beyonce's a Virgo. I'm and she's perfect. So yeah. I don't know what degree her sun sign is, but I'm sure it's, I'm sure it's a later degree. Um, because she's flawless. But yeah. So anyways, Beyonce aside. Yeah. So earlier degrees, immature later degrees, more mature. That's kind of the point of what I'm saying. Yeah. So yeah. And then another way that your signs can be more mature or immature, um, aside from like what degree is, and this is the probably the non technical explanation, but I feel like no one really talks about this. So a lot of people don't realize you can actually grow in and out. Two different, you let me rephrase that.

 

You can grow in, into certain placements in your chart and you can also outgrow a certain placements in your chart, if that makes sense. Which it should, I don't know why I said that anyway. Uh, yeah, so you can kind of grow into certain places in your heart. You can outgrow them. Um, which is really cool about astrology because you can kind of grow with your signs. So like an example for me personally, um, when I was younger I resonated a lot more with my Aquarius rising and, um, when I didn't really relate to my Virgo sun sign as much, whereas now that I'm older, I actually relate a lot more to my son's side and Virgo and slightly and mean not less because it's my rising sign. And I think people always tend to resonate with a rising signs regardless. But I guess what I do think is that, you know, I've grown into my sun sign a lot more and I do embody a lot more Virgo traits.

 

But I think my Aquarius rising has matured a lot more, um, as I've grown up because when I was younger I was really spiteful. I was really like, I don't like to say this word because it sounds kind of cheesy, but, um, I was the typical like rebellious Aquarius and I guess I still am kind of like that now, but in a more mature way I think, you know, I still kind of like go against the grain a little bit from what most people do or most people would consider to be normal. So like I still do that stuff. Um, one thing I really tried to work on is, so like one of my natural Aquarius rising tendencies that I used to go to when I was younger is I was so, so spiteful and I hated being bossed around. Um, if anyone told me what to do, I always wanted to do the opposite just to like get back at them because you know, in my head I'd be like, who does this person think they are telling you what to do?

 

I know everything. They know nothing. Like, um, I was very stubborn and pretentious in that way and I still am a little bit. Um, but you know, with age I've tried to work on it because, you know, one thing I've learned is, you know, acting that way is very detrimental, which is kind of another little thing I wanted to point out just because you know, you have certain traits that are part of certain placements in your chart. It's not always healthy to over identify with them. Um, you can still show them in different ways, but like at the same time you need to check in with yourself and think about what you're doing and be like, is this something I'm actually doing that's going to benefit me or is it not going to benefit me? And you know, obviously if you're doing stuff that's not going to benefit you or not helping you as a person, you need to work on that and move past it.

 

You can't just be like, you know, Oh, I'm a, I'm an Aquarius rising, so I'm just going to be spiteful every time anyone tells me to do anything or, you know, says anything to me, I'm just always going to do the opposite because I'm an Aquarius rising. So that's what I got to do. Um, no, it doesn't have to be like that. And you can kind of have those traits and still have them come out in other ways. So, um, not to be like, oh look at me, I'm a special snowflake and I'm so quirky and different. But these are just kind of my personal examples. So like I'm an Aquarius rising, I have like very unconventional, like political views. Um, I have very unconventional interests like astrology and podcasting. I'm Vegan, like, you know, so all these like little things like that, you know, are kind of what would be considered like Quirky Aquarius traits, at least in my opinion.

 

Some people might disagree with it. Please don't send me hate mail. Thank you so much. So, yeah, and you know, I, I embody a lot of Virgo traits that I'm now trying to work on too. Like I, you know, I'm someone who worries a lot and you know, I'm super critical and picky and you know, and that, those are all things I need to work on. Like every, like I said, or you know, before, like, you know, you can, every sign has good and bad traits. Um, you don't need to overly identify them and use them as an excuse for your bad behavior, but, you know, it's, it's all part of like the process of growing and being a person. So it's good. It's okay. Like if you have those traits, but like, you know, and everyone's going to have them come out sometimes, but as long as you're, you need basically, my whole point is if you're doing things that are not good, please be aware of them and do something about them.

 

And don't just use your Zodiac sign as an excuse to do it. Um, I really want to put a lot of emphasis on that because, you know, I think a lot of people tend to do that. I think there was, there was some youtube video, or maybe it was a vine, I don't remember, but someone showed me this one that was just like, this person, like doing all these bad things and they're like, oh, it's okay. I'm a Virgo. I'm a bitch because I'm a Virgo. And it's like, okay, like, yeah, that's funny. But also like some people are actually like that and you guys just, you need to not, we all need to not, um, because it's not, it's not beneficial to you. It's not beneficial to the people around you. But anyways, I'm getting way, way off track anyways. So yeah, that's my whole thing about Sun signs.

 

Um, the main takeaways are that, um, you know, your sun sign is just your birthday. It's the core of who you are. Your Sun sign is your ego and you might not fully identify with your sun sign. And that's totally, oh Kay. Um, it's okay to not identify with your sun sign. So yeah, for anyone at home taking notes, as long as you remember that your sun sign is your ego, it's the core of who you are and it's your birthday. I'm to write that stuff down and you're good. That's all you need to know about your sun sign. And yeah, that's your sun sign segment.

 

All right. Um, and we're back with this next segment. Um, so in this next segment, um, I'm going to be talking all about the natal chart or the birth chart as some people like to call it. Um, to get started. What is the natal chart? A natal chart is basically like a snapshot of where all the planets were, the day you were born. Um, this makes me think of when people say stuff like, oh, the stars were all aligned or the planets were all aligned. So it's meant to be, um, the planets are always shifting. And changing your natal chart is simply just like a picture that shows what all the planets were doing at the exact moment when you were born. This is why it's super important to know the exact time and date and the place you were born when calculating your natal chart.

 

Um, because if you don't have all those exact details, your natal chart might be, um, pretty off or slightly off, which, you know, details are super important with this stuff. So even if something's a little bit off, it can still kinda change how you view everything. Um, in the last segment I talked about, you know, what a sun sign is and what most people don't know is you have all these other planets in your chart as well, including like the moon even. Um, I know the moon is not technically considered a planet, so I cannot just throw that in there, um, according to these notes anyway. Uh, so all these wins interact with each other differently and they make up your needle tart. So that's kind of what, what your natal chart is. It just shows, you know, where all the planets were and how they're interacting with each other.

 

The day you were born. There is some like scientific stuff that I, I'm definitely going to talk about on another podcast that explains, you know, scientifically how you're, you know, noodle chart and how the planets affect us, which I guess it's, you know, something to do with like vibrations and stuff. But anyways, I'll talk more about that at a later date. Um, so yeah. Um, so everyone has a natal chart. It's every one dental Tara is like pretty different and unique unless you happen to meet someone who was born at the same place and time as you were. Even twins can have similar charts, but their charts, um, can still be slightly different depending on how far apart they were born. Um, so they might have a very similar chart, but they could still possibly have like a few things that are slightly off depending on, you know, how far apart they were. They were born.

 

Okay.

 

So, yeah. So, um, so your needle part is kind of just the Duh, I'm going to start that over. So your natal chart is kind of just like a map of your psyche. Everything you could ever possibly want to know is in your natal chart. You can go as far as finding out like, you know, the details of like how you'll die. Um, which I'm sure a lot of people maybe don't want to know. Um, or maybe you do want to know. Um, so you can go as far as finding out, you know, things like when you'll die to finding out, you know, really weird random things like, you know, what, what's your brother's neighbor going to be like? Um, stuff like that. Um, you can even use it to understand more mundane and less scary things like, uh, you know, what's your ideal career path of what are your talents?

 

What are you good at? What kind of traits do you look for in a partner? What do you need to feel secure? Uh, w what would your ideal partner be like? Why do your relationships fail? What are your strengths? What are your weaknesses? What areas of life are more challenging for you? All your questions can be answered simply by examining just your natal chart. It's basically just like a map of like, you know, your entire being almost. Um, I can explain, you know, your childhood experiences, your future experiences, um, what you need to work on, what's helping you, what's hurting you. Um, basically that's, that's why I love astrology. Cause if you, if you want to understand something about yourself, you just look at your chart. Everything's right there. It's, it's almost like, you know, we just, it's almost as if people came with a manual.

 

I know everyone says like, Oh life doesn't come with a manual or you know, life does come with a manual. It's the Bible or you know, stuff like that. But I dunno, I feel like you know, the manual to your life as your natal chart, everything you want to know is right there in front of you. Um, and that's one reason I wanted to educate more people about astrology and do this podcast is because just by knowing and understanding these things about ourselves, the needle tracking give us the opportunity to grow and improve as people. As with most things, nothing is perfect. I don't think astrology is a cure all for all of life's problems. It's also not an excuse. You know, like I said in the last segment, it's not an excuse for bad behavior. Why things don't always go the way you want them to in life.

 

Um, I mean sometimes it's strategy can have its hand in that, I guess, but for the most part, just knowing about these placements and how you can work with them and what's, you know, learning what things are more challenging and what's working against you can help so much. So, yeah, I, you know, that's the good thing about astrology is you can learn all these things about yourself and it's all right in your natal chart. And I'm, I guess, you know, I wish I had more to say about this, other than it's just the map of your soul or your psyche or whatever it is, those things, um, you know, but I kind of, I don't know, I wanted to take a time, take the time to explain it and tell people about it because a lot of people don't understand what it is. Um, so yeah, it's all just, you know, it just shows where the planets were, how they make up your personality.

 

I'll explain more about the planets in a later podcast, but for right now, I'm just going to leave it at that. That's just your basic explanation of the natal chart. Uh, if all that stuff seems like a lot of information or it still feels like it's over your head, don't worry, it'll start to make more sense as, as podcast continues. My goal here is to really try and break down all the elements of astrology into smaller pieces so that it'll be much easier to learn and understand. So yeah, if all that seems like a lot of information and maybe I am, I am throwing a lot of information that you guys at once. Ah, don't worry. Because you know, eventually like all the pieces will kind of come together and yeah, that's about all I have to say about the natal chart for this segment.

so, uh, I suck at writing notes. Apparently. I thought talking about the natal chart was going to take me a lot more time than it did. So I'm just going to jump straight into my third podcast aren't, what am I saying? No, my third podcast, I'm my third segment moving on to your astrological forecast. Um, so I, I know really midway through September right now, I'm just going to jump straight into October and tell you guys what is going on in October this month. Yeah. So this is kind of my first time doing this. I'm not one to really do astrological forecasts, but I figure what's an astrology part of that? I just figured what some astrology podcast, you know, if you're not doing a forecast. Um, so without further ado, uh, at the beginning of the month on October 9th, we have our new moon in Libra, new moons are good for fresh starts manifesting, starting new goals and relationships.

 

New Moons. Lay out the groundwork for what you wish to accomplish. If you're Li, if you're someone with their sun in Libra or a Libra rising, you'll notice the effects of this new moon the most. It'll be energizing and getting you ready to start working towards new goals. Uh, overall I think everyone will be really energized by this. But Libra, Sun risings especially, um, you know, look, if you're not a leaver center rising, look to where those are in your natal chart and you can kind of see better how those will affect you. Um, honestly, we had a Virgo back. We had a Virgo new moon, um, last month or this month, technically earlier this month. And that's kind of what gave me the idea to start this podcast and gave me all the energy and I was, you know, I just remember feeling really good about doing this cause I'm, I'm someone, I get a lot of ideas.

 

I don't always act on them or follow through. I'm actually trying to do that now and I think that Virgo new moon had had something to do with it. So yeah, new moons are great and I'm really excited for all you libras out there who are going to be energized by this Libra new moon. Um, after that coming up in this forecast, we'll have Venus retrograde. Venus is going to be in retrograde from October 6th to November 16th. Um, I'm going to be doing another podcast specifically on retro grades, but for right now, all you need to know is that when a planet goes retrograde, that just means that, so basically when a planet is retrograde, it just means that from down here on earth, if we were to look up at it through a telescope, um, it would appear that the planet is moving backwards. This is an optical illusion.

 

It's not really moving backwards. Um, but every like couple of months or years or so, depending on the planet, um, we noticed this phenomena and yeah, so it looks like it's moving backwards because of this. Um, all of that planet's energy kind of gets reversed in a way. So instead of us using those energies and channeling them outwardly, they become internalized. So this Venus retrograde, we're all going to be internalizing our Venus traits. Um, so, you know, usually during retrogrades, like they say, because everything's being internalized, a lot of mishaps can happen because a lot of the time, especially with social planets like mercury or Venus, um, we're not outwardly, we're not like mentally present, I guess is what I'm trying to say. Uh, so a lot of things can happen and miss us, so to speak. I'm like, we're not mentally present, so we're, you know, mistakes will happen.

 

Um, so, and it's not really a bad thing. Like a lot of people think that rhetoric are bad and they're not really bad. Um, I mean, yes, like bad, bad, what's concerned, bad things can happen. But really the best thing about retrogrades is that they're a good time for inner reflection and to rethink and reevaluate and re-plan some things depending on where the retrograde falls in your chart. Um, if you look at where the retrograde falls in your chart, you can get a better understanding of, uh, you know, what things are going to be working on during that retrograde. So getting back to Venus and retrograde and the Venus retrograde will affect everyone a little bit differently depending on where it is in their chart. Some basic things to look out for with this retrograde will be things like, you know, don't go back to your boyfriend, ex boyfriend, ex-girlfriend, booty call, whatever.

 

Don't go back to any relationships that are no longer serving you. They might rear their ugly heads back into your life and it might seem tempting, but don't do it. It most likely won't work out and you'll eventually, you remember why things didn't work out in the first place. Another thing to watch out for is, um, is you know, spending money or changing, making drastic changes to your appearance. Uh, these things are all going to seem tempting, but at the very least, you know, get a second opinion before you do these things, you might end up with some huge regrets or at the very least a bad haircut. Uh, if you're not careful, Venus is all about love, relationships, luxury and beauty. So these things are going to be highlighted during this retrograde. So that's why I advise you listeners out there to use caution when you feel the temptation to pursue some of these things.

 

Um, you know, get a second opinion or, you know, sleep on it for a bit before you just decide to, you know, dive on into it. Like, think about it. If it's something that you really want, um, or you think it'll look good or won't look good or if you really need it. Um, even if you to act on some of these things, that's okay too. I think a big reason why we have retrograde is so people can learn from their mistakes. Um, I think they're here to teach us the lesson. It sucks because we shouldn't need to keep repeating the same mistakes, but you know, some people really need that in order to finally get a wakeup call. And some people just never learned their lesson. Um, that's life unfortunately. Uh, but, you know, I'm, I'm personally a big fan of mistakes. I make them often and you know, mistakes are how we grow and evolve as people.

 

And, you know, I guess it's just like trial and error, right? Like, just keep doing stuff and see if it works and if it doesn't work, try something else. Um, definitely do not keep doing the same things over and over again if they're not working for you. Uh, moving on from Venus and retrograde will be ending the month with a full moon in Taurus on October 24th. Full moons are good for completion and harvesting. Reflecting on how far you've come since the last new moon, did you meet all the goals that you've set for yourself on the last new moon? Uh, this is a good time to take inventory and check in with yourself, uh, making sure that you're doing all the things that you set out to do. And they say that, uh, following the moon cycles are a great way to set goals and intentions. So, yeah, there's not too, too, too much going on in October, but definitely some stuff to be aware of. I actually just learned today that I'm apparently in most Colt and a lot of cultures, uh, farmers use the moon to like plant and harvest their crops. Uh, which I thought was super interesting because you know, as much of an astrology nerd that I as I am, um, I didn't know that, so I thought that was super, super interesting. Um, but yeah, so, you know, these are the things happening this month are mostly good. Uh, it might be challenging for some people with this Venus retrograde. Um, but it's okay. Sometimes we just got to go through some shit for a better outcome. It's, you know, it's like what they say, no mud, no lotus.

 

Um, a beautiful lotus can only grow through the mud. So if you're not going through the mud, you're not going to get the Lotus. So yeah, embrace any hardships you run into in the month of October, you'll come out stronger and better in the end. I promise it might suck, but you'll be okay. Um, just, you know, be wary of the things I mentioned to do, you know, don't go back to your ex boyfriend, girlfriend, booty call side chick. Uh, you know, people that, you know, you know, things didn't work out in the past, you know, they might, they might creep up on Ya and they might seem, you know, enticing. Um, but you know, keep your head up and tell them no, stay away. Um, or don't, if you want to, you know, learn that lesson again, go for it. Um, because hopefully you'll learn your lesson this time. So yeah, that is your October, 2018 astrological forecast
